今日大夥兒打邊爐叫左個番茄鍋幾得原個蕃茄浮下浮下味道都唔錯...火鍋料都新鮮好味..之但係份量真係少得好可憐特別係個貢丸...32蚊碟..但係得3粒開邊變6小件...本地手切肥牛大140蚊..係出邊既2/3 size... 咁貴得得咁少之後轉食美國雪花肥牛60蚊..上枱得8小片...oh no.....唔通灣仔d租咁貴...超唔抵..但係有糖水送..都好味既...
這個星期日在灣仔主場上完台灣麻雀理論與實戰特訓課程後,與一衆導師們來到了這裡晚飯.晚上八時左右人客不算太多,看看餐牌上的選擇這裡像是以火鍋為主小菜為副。
炸魚片頭這食物近年已變得普通化不再矜貴,試想想正常一條炸魚片有多少個頭?不像現在的硬把整條切角去炸,要多少有多少.須是翻炸貨色還要搭上幾粒魚蛋但剛炸起即吃還是不錯的.椒鹽九肚魚及田雞九肚魚起了骨來炸,雖炸得酥脆但吃起來感覺總是怪怪似的.田雞炸得有點過熟肉質已變老,兩款味道也不夠"椒鹽".油浸筍殼魚邊鰭位炸得夠脆魚身亦算厚肉,豉油調味略甜整體水準不及新水記.鵝肝鯪魚餅鯪魚餅頗彈牙內裡鵝肝份量算多,但當濃味的鵝肝油碰上魚肉的微腥整件事情變得古怪,是味道上的錯配!蔥油雞雞肉吃起來嫩滑但本身味道甚淡,要靠蔥油來提味,好像濃香的蔥油才是這菜的主角.鵝油炒麵雖鵝羶味薄弱但麵條本身炒得乾爽夠鑊氣,是好吃的!潮式蠔仔粥蠔仔飽滿鮮甜乾淨無沙粥底帶方魚的味道,如果"師傅"下得輕手點便好了.廚房員工有點遊魂,明明點叫的是避風塘做法但出來的變成了椒鹽,上錯菜漏單情況常出現.這區食店競爭激烈,要突圍而出的話看來店方要想想辦法才行.更多文字分享http://pandamenhk.blogspot.com
four of us wandering in cwb on friday night without reservation, and saw this restaurant have no line up. so we went in (big mistake never try any restaurant that has no line up on a friday night in cwb, they are empty for a reason!!) we had to sit on another empty table to wait for those who had yet to leave on the table supposedly for us. that's the least dissatisfying part of the night.i didn't want chilly crab so opted for hotpot. to be honest, the soup base was ok and the food we ordered were fresh, and i need wait for one or two days before my tummy can tell me if they are clean. but the biggest disappointment was the size. all dishes looked like they are for two children or seniors who don't eat much.the squid paste was pathetically petit like the palm of a child, the local beef was fewer than any pack you can find in supermarkets, the scallops are each dissected into two so they can cover the plate when split, there are 3 midsize shrimp on one order, which i forgot was around $40 to $50, but we have four people. the most ridiculous dish was the beef flank cubes, six small cubes on an even smaller plate, look like they were leftover from the other table. and like the shrimp, an order of oysters only have three pieces.the point is, we don't mind paying decent price for food of decent quality, which i think they are good, but selling such a small portion at this price is really scary. i know how expensive rents are in cwb, but that's no justification for greed in such an extent. pretty soon, there will be fewer customers and the owner can actually worry little about rents because they wouldnt need to pay at all when they are out of business.we had no tea but we were charged for tea and $18(!) each for sauce. definitely i will never be their羊牯 again in my lifetime unless i hd alzheimers and was dragged against my will to this restaurant and someone i hate was buying me dinner.on the other hand, everywhere else are full of people waiting outside that night. except this restaurant and two others at the end of the road. funny, that may tell you something about these few restaurants.the four of us ended up eating our second dinner nearby, stuffing ourselves with some 糯米飯 and 腸粉!! what a night.
