This is my second time to go here for an impromptu Happy Hour meeting after work. My colleague likes this place because it is spacious inside and has free wifi. We ordered from their Happy Hour combo menu which suited our needs since we were sharing. The best deal offered is for $400 which included 12 beers, 12 chicken wings and a full rack of BBQ ribs. (they have smaller combo's starting from $115 for 3 beers & 6 chicken wings) We were pleasantly surprised at the quality of the wings. There were 3 flavors to choose from (buffalo, honey garlic and spicy garlic butter) and we chose the Buffalo style. The wings were deep fried and coated with lots of sauce. The sauce was very tasty and tangy and I found myself licking my fingers. It had just enough kick to it without being overly spicy/tangy but I suppose you could request it to be spicier if you like it very hot. They were served with the standard carrots and celery sticks. The wing size was generous and I would overall rate these a 8/10. Much better than wings I have had at other Happy Hour bars. It tasted like genuine buffalo wings that I have had overseas. I will try the other flavors on my next visit. The ribs were served coated with the chef's own homemade sauce and you could see herbs and spices in the texture. The sauce was good and we asked for some extra on the side so we could dip it in. The meat on the ribs was pretty good, it was cooked properly but I preferred the wings over the ribs. The ribs were also served with a small side of french fries. So all combined, the portion of this combo was perfect for the 6 of us. The decor of the bar is very comfortable. We sat in the sofa section and pulled some extra chairs up to our table but they also have a large bar and booth seats. The menu stated that the Happy Hour combos were available starting from 7pm so it seems this bar's kitchen doesn't open until then. I suppose if you went earlier you could go just for a drink. I didn't order from their regular menu but glancing at it, it seems to cover all the standard pub fair. I was happy to see that they had a tastefully decorated bar in Wan Chai that was reasonably priced. I also noticed there was a dance floor area with a stage so I will be sure to come back at a later time to check out their entertainment. My overall experience with this bar was positive and I would recommend it for after work gatherings.
