I went today for a set lunch with my mom at around 2 PM or so there was no wait necessary at that time. We ordered two lunch sets one for $68 and the other for $88. Break BasketThe bread that they provided was very nice rosemary foccacia. It was served nice and warm; I like! Fish ChowderThe soup they had today was a fish chowder it was okay. Quite creamy, but it tasted a bit like something out of a can. Eggplant with OatmealAlthough this is an unusual dish, it tasted quite nice, especially the oatmeal which has a very nice texture and bite to it. The eggplant itself is quite tough at the ends. Overall, a tasty but average dish. Panfried Snapper in Wine SauceThe snapper was very good, and covered in a wine foam rather than a wine sauce. This was an interesting addition to the dish, but there was not much of a distinctive taste to it as I ate it with the fish. There were also some vegetables with the dish, also about average. Chocolate CakeDessert of the day was the chocolate cake which was really nice a mix between a cake and a brownie.The restaurant itself looks very nice and sophisticated. The service was also quite good and the food was served fairly quickly.Overall, the restaurant was okay. I would not come back again, however, as it was not the most excellent food; nothing special.

1.炭燒三文魚味道不是一個問題,主要是份量過小,對胃口大的人來說千萬不要以為魚健康就去點它,否則下午茶要自己付錢再吃過。

賣相不差,只是份量能夠大一點就更理想。

2.炭燒豬扒明顯地有炭燒網紋,賣相良好,正因為同事怕吃生的食物,所以點豬是無用擔心此問題吧。

豬扒有點“鞋口”是正常不過的,所以無用特別投訴,只需多花點牙力來應付便可以。

3.肉眼牛扒本來期待很大,不過來到時候連我們要求的多小成熟也一點亂就有點問題,而且所謂的半生熟其實是生才對,不過對我來說生一點問題不是很大,照吃如也。

味道很新鮮,不過所標榜的所謂鵝肝汁就真的感受不到罷了。

前幾日下午去左Wooden Table 食lunch, 環境很好, 樓底很高, 很舒服十分適合三兩知己傾計食飯, 情侶拍拖食飯之好去處.呢到食物選擇多, 價錢適中我叫左個set lunch (HK$98), 估唔到竟然有驚喜! 蕃茄清湯 鮮甜蕃茄味, 仲有原粒新鮮蕃茄添(真係好彩, 上次我嚟食Lunch, 又係清湯 是牛尾清湯, 香濃牛味,仲有原粒牛尾添! 出面好少食到.)相信清湯係必選嘅項目.主菜是牛肩配牛肝菌汁, 個汁真係超好味, 勁香菌味!個汁又帶出牛嘅鮮味.價錢又唔貴, 值得一試.交通方便, 喺地鐵站不遠處.

It's good a few nice choices for lunchset. Portion and taste both exceeded my expectation. Service not extremely impressive but overall speaking it's good enough for me to revisit laterRelaxing atmosphere. We all had a good time. I am surprised that there are so manycomments. I went to Wooden Table for dinner tonight with my friend. We ordered a set for two ($398), which came with two appetizers (tomato toast with parma ham x2 , a crab medley with avocado) and a rocket leaves salad, a pasta (you can choose from rivoli and squid ink spaghetti) and a main course (we chose goose liver with beef tenderloin out of the 3 options), an assorted dessert platter (includes a small creme brulee and a slice of tiramisu) and tea/coffee for two.All the food was served with good presentation and cooked right. I particularly like the crab medley. We asked for the beef tenderloin to be cooked to medium but it was medium well. But the meat was still very tender and the porcini sauce tasted very good.We also ordered lobster bisque ($68) and mushroom soup ($45). The mushroom soup was discounted to $20 as we ordered the set but there was no discount for the lobster bisque. I could taste the fresh mushroom in the mushroom soup but it was not rich enough. The lobster bisque was quite good though.We also ordered a jug of sangria and it was good.I am satisfied with the food and very happy with the servicebut my friend thinks it's too pricey for its location (Fortress Hill).Anyway, we enjoyed the food, the service and the environment.
