1) We went to have a chilled drink and (hope to get) some nice food together for our visitors coming in town. Many options from the winelist were not available. Everytime their senior manager came back “we don’t have this one, similar price would be this another one”, for 34 times.Normally sommelier should recommend something with similar flavours, texture and price range, rather than just “similar price”. 2) Food options are worse when compared to last year. 3 When I went to pay, I heard staff commenting newly arrived clients “oh this type of people again “ … I turned and looked, 3 men with normal business outfit, Asians and Caucasians. Not sure what was not good enough for this bar.4) Finally, the washroom was full, so we went downstairs to écriture to use it on our way out. We were not allowed to use it. Receptionist was very arrogant and said “this is for customers from the restaurant only”. If the restaurant is not connected to the bar, they shouldn’t not use each other as the selling point “nice view bar, with proper food and wine selected from the restaurant” Overall, no return to this place.

I have been to 40+ countries and never in my life have seen such a horrible service. The Asian looking server at the reception is so mean. He stopped us while I see other people going in. After I point it out he claims they don’t have any drinks anymore? I mean, this is a bar ? Right down stairs u have Ichu they have much better service and terrace and plus they have DJ sometimes. I love Hongkong so much and I come here very often but this place is definitely a stain in this city!
Come on.. Hong Kong service is better that you can do here! We got here around 4pm n we opened bottles. But suddenly a waiter came to our table and being really mean to us saying: “I don’t care how much you spent, I need this table at 6pm!” We were about to enjoy our time at Plume and this is how you treat your clients?! Seriously, I am not gonna come EVER AGAIN!
Went there for a drink, view was lovely.There was a black low coffee table misplaced and accidentally hit it and started bleeding.The waiting staff saw it and I asked her for bandage and waited for forgot how long, no respond and no update, so asked again and they told me nope, left me bleeding and no bandage.I asked another staff who seems to be a manager and at last got me a bandage after maybe half an hour.Totally disappointed with the service despite how lovely the view is.Unbelievable to left an injuries client alone and unbelievable for a restaurant for not having amy bandage… nor to at least update and get back to us about it.Anyway guess I was being unlucky but the service was u acceptable.
Tried to visit Plume for several time but always in a bad time. Heard they have a good deal “Buy 1 get 1 free” for their set lunch for their 1st Anniversary. The thick blinis is crispy outside and soft, warm inside. Great match! Australian Wagyu beef tartare Good seasoning! Above average. Brittany wild sea bream, buerre blancQuite a big cut. Personally prefer if there’s crispy skin intact. Sauce is delicious. Morisseau Mont Saint Michel mussels mariniere (front)Grilled Spanish Octopus, virgin sauce (back)Very generous amount of mussels! Very fresh and size are good! Classic sauce with cream, white wine, garlic and parsley. Can never go wrong. The octopus is really tender. Quite refreshing to go with the salsa. For side, the mashed potato is creamy and smooth. My favourite side dish! Fries with good seasoning and crunchy. Crème brûlée, vanila ice creamPretty nice dessert. But wishing the top can be crispy. Love the fresh vanilla bean in the crème brûlée.Hazelnut Parline ChouxWow! Not 1, not 2 but 3?! Didn’t expect that at all. These choux are nicely done! Dipped in the hazelnut sauce and ate like a mini burgerChocolate, salted caramel and candied nut tart Those chocolate tart is just indulgent. Chocolate lovers must love this. Very rich mousse together with the nuts in top. Heaven! We ordered Xavier Cheese platter as well. Quite nice they serving5 cheese. It’s definitely a great spot for drinks and casual lunch. With the food serving by Ecriture kitchen, it’s a really good deal. Staffs are friendly but some of them are very green. But I guess everyone will be pretty chilled in this atmosphere so it’s not a big problem at all
