Chan Taiwanese recently opened a branch in Wanchai. It seems to be fairly popular whenever we see it in Tsuen Wan but oddly enough we never really ended up eating there. So, when it opened in Wanchai, closer to me, we decided to try it out for dinner.The place has two floors but seating is a bit cramped. They also have a takeaway window for drinks.Menu is in English and Chinese. You order by checking off a piece of paper and pay on your way out. There is no 10% service charge. They serve various Taiwanese rice and noodle dishes along with snacks. Mains can get a drink for a discounted price. Rice and noodles are also customizable.White Peach Oolong Tea with Konjac Ball ($16 with order of main) was a drink I ordered. The konjac balls were chewy and not too hard. The tea was ok and not too sweet. Not much peach flavour.I ordered the Beef Trio Noodle Soup ($88), choosing sliced noodle and braised soup. The trio was brisket, tripe and tendon. Plenty of toppings and a lot of noodles. Portion size was very generous. The soup was not too spicy but also not too beefy in taste as well. The noodles were very good. Smooth and slippery. The brisket was soft and tender.  Loved the tendon as well.Boyfriend had the Fried Popcorn Chicken ($60) in salt and pepper flavor.  The amount was also generous. Not too much seasoning but just enough to flavour the chicken. The meat was very juicy and little meat nuggets were crispy.  They also served it with a generous side of lettuce and sesame sauce.He also added $12 to upgrade to a Minced Pork Rice. Portion of this rice was also larger than most other places that serve this. However, it wasn't too good. A bit too oily. The rice was on the soft side.Overall, the food was ok with generous portions. I can see why it's so popular. A bit pricey but would be back.

朋友知我鍾意飲珍珠奶茶, 食肉燥飯同台式炸物鹽酥雞, 所以就特登帶我嚟灣仔呢間台式料理❤️ 全餐廳都差不多用木來裝潢,再加上餐廳明亮。

原來係由90 後台灣女仔打理,使用竹製餐具,够環保兩份餐加一份小時,份量大滿足😆✨️經典台式珍珠奶茶,芋香珍珠奶茶兩款珍珠奶茶必叫之選,珍珠有嚼口,再加上奶茶香濃奶滑✨️經典台式牛肉麵 (半筋半肉麵)(可選紅燒、麻辣、辣番茄口味 ....可選台灣陽春麵 或 台灣刀削麵)我地選了紅燒台灣刀削麵,牛腩大大舊唔鞋口,再加爽口彈牙既牛筋,仲要醬汁牛味勁濃郁,湯底再配有中藥既甘醇👍✨️香酥雞排 配滷肉飯雞排外皮鹹香酥脆, 內裡滲出嫩滑美味的雞汁,證明唔係一味炸到雞身乾爭爭,而且酥脆炸到金黄色,食落味道有層次,因為以豉油、五香粉及中藥香料磨成粉作雞肉,滷肉飯完全食到台灣的風味,完全解到去台灣食既感覺✨️炸物拼盤 (四季豆、杏包菇、花枝丸同地瓜丸), 感覺完全不肥膩,而且再配鹽酥粉,感覺勁惹味,地瓜丸够煙un, 花枝丸又够香口❤️

話說8:30pm 叫咗一碗麻油雞麵。

個廚師一聽到有單,就好大聲用粗口講,「嘩,咁_多單既」,好似驚死啲客聽唔到咁,只有三台客。

第一碗麵嚟到,全部都係雞碎,好似貓糧,好明顯係個底嗰啲。

同服務員講,廚師主動喺廚房叫出嚟,話佢可以換過一碗。

過咗大約5分鐘之後,廚師換左一碗出嚟,一模一樣。

我仲要認得唯一一舊大少少既雞件,點解可以當個客唔知?其實你俾唔到一碗正常嘅,咪講話冇晒囉。

咁個客人可以叫其他食物,而唔係你話換過另外一碗出嚟,仲換碗一模一樣,當個客完全唔知,好過份。

拎碗面出嚟完全唔會覺得唔好意思?其實灣仔有好多其他台灣嘢嘅選擇,我一定唔會再幫襯呢間。

廚師態度咁差,煮野食又無standard .. 其實有圖文不符,有差距,都接受到。

第一碗麻油雞麵,好似湯渣或者貓糧 (上菜時真係咁樣)第二碗麻油雞麵,得啲雞皮同埋雞碎,舊唯一一舊雞件仲係度,點會認唔到….呢張相係冇掂過碗麵影既…

初時見佢間鋪頭裝修企理,而且menu 又好似好吸引咁,就入左去食。

點知,食物既質素同性價比,真係令人大失所望,唔會再有下一次,真心伏!由其佢聲稱招牌麻油雞麵,食落第一啖,d麵仲係硬既,而且d雞肉係無味同霉既。

另外,我地叫左兩杯野飲都係甜到傻呀!但鹽酥雞又勁咸食完之後,睇一睇佢既評分,真係令我o嘴,百幾個好評,真心咩?!我真係好想知,今次個經驗咁差,係因為我地遇到個廚師今日心情唔靚,定係個d好評都係幻覺?😏😏大家心知肚明啦!P.S.最爆趣既係同場其他食客既反應,有個食左一啖走人;有個一路一路搖頭、嘆氣,眉頭就嚟夾死烏蠅;仲有一個男人食到懷疑人生,食每一啖都望住個staff 🥲🥲

有日一個人食晏,又想食我鍾意嘅台灣嘢,又未試過呢間,就諗住試一試,一個人都排咗半個鐘先入到座,咁佢裝修都新淨,店面都乾乾淨淨同坐得ok嘅,我點咗鹽酥雞配滷肉飯佢賣相都唔錯嘅,不過份量就唔多,味道都非常一般,鹽酥雞炸粉厚,有幾件幾乎得炸粉冇雞肉,同埋炸得偏乾,滷肉飯就普通正常,但都唔係話好好食,佢價錢都唔平,又要排一輪先食到,我預期佢質素會高啲,唔知係咪咁啱我啲嘢食整得麻麻,如果唔係應該唔會排咁長龍掛
