CitySuper, the ever popular high end grocery store chain that offers a variety of imported items from around the globe has always offered cooked meals in the form of takeaways and a food court. But now they have branched out and entered into an actual restaurant with service. A focus on their Japanese brands they sell, they have created a midrange Japanese restaurant.Located in the new Sugar+ building in Causeway Bay, the restaurant is spacious though not very big. It also has an amazing view of Victoria Park below.Menu is in English, Japanese and Chinese. You order by scanning a QR code that is in English and Chinese (though the categories are in Chinese only but it's easily enough to just click about). They seem to serve everything from sushi to udon to tempura. Just basically everything. All featuring the brands CitySuper sells. As I use a lot of their products for cooking, I'm fairly familiar with the brands and knew what I was getting into. Everything is in single people sets.Each set starts you off with a salad. This was ok. Heavily dressed in Japanese salad dressing, the greens were fresh, the cherry tomatoes sweet.After a bit of a wait, my lunch arrived. I chose the Saikyo Yaki Salmon Set with Jumbo Shrimp Tempura ($278).It came with a miso soup that was ok. Not too watered down with the light taste of dashi.The set came with an appetiezr of Japanese burdock salad. This was nice and savory.The tempura consisted of the one large prawn, pumpkin and carrot. It wasn't too oily and it was very crisp. It was served with a bit of matcha salt. The prawn was just cooked. The legs were wonderfully crunchy like chips. But the tail couldn't be eaten as it was much too hard.The salmon was nicely cooked with a crunchy skin. The seasoning was not too salty. I did love the pickled daikon as they used a bit of yuzu to make it not as sour but yet still refreshing.The food was ok with some parts feeling like the takeaway I sometimes get from CitySuper. As there was such a variety of choices for sets, it felt like Ootoya but a bit more expensive. I should mention the service was amazingly attentative. I was sitting there waiting for my food but I didn't ask why it was taking so long. A wait staff came over and apologized for the wait and that my order will arrive soon. I though this was very nice of this person considering I didn't even mention it. It was ok but may return to try something else because they do let you collect points on your CitySuper members card.

香港第一間主力販售歐美日韓高級(貴價)進口食材的高檔超級市場city’super 於1996年在香港創業,之後不斷擴張規模,直至2021年中被中資華潤集團收購接受經營。

之後不旦沒有改變路線,反而更積極拓展業務,甚至進軍飲食業。

【味藏】就是第一間由city’super直接營運的餐廳,選址銅鑼灣最新食廈「Sugar+」。

餐廳門口的展示架擺滿了清酒及純米吟釀,相信全部均在city’super 上架。

裝修糅合了日式町家風格及淺色木材,充滿日式風情之餘,亦顯得時尚及光鮮企理。

加上其中一邊外牆係全落地玻璃,可眺望維多利亞公園;白天時既有充足自然光,亦有開揚境景緻,用餐環境倍感舒適。

既然係 city’super 自家品牌日本餐廳,店內所採用食材除了差不多全部從日本進口,同時在city‘super 販售;餐廳賺錢之餘、也有宣傳效應,可謂一舉兩得。

餐牌第一頁就介紹了名字【味藏】的由來,以及選材用料及烹飪宗旨。

餐廳晚市主打「しゃぶしゃぶ」及「蒸ししゃぶ」,也有多款刺身、海鮮及多元化日式料理,定位為高級漁師料理居酒屋及日式牛肉涮涮鍋綜合體。

午市有另外一個餐牌,內容相對簡單,但亦有多款定食選擇;只不過,午餐時段不可以揀晚市餐牌內的菜式。

想食 A5 山形牛涮涮鍋、刺身或者海鮮料理,就要夜晚再嚟過。

餐牌當然不忘推介 city’super 四大品牌美食:「山口畜產」山形牛、「RFI」沙律素食、福岡縣「茅乃舍」高湯及自家品牌「博多屋」豆品。

除了午市餐牌之外,另外又有精選推介。

週一至週五及週末假日分別有兩份不同精選推介。

唔知道午餐的迷你沙律是否「RFI」沙律素食出品,食材並非特別,味道又太酸。

唔好食。

唔知點解雞肉天婦羅係大分縣名物?大分縣名物雞肉天婦羅定食($98)的六件雞肉鋪排整齊,秉承日本料理着重賣相的精神;但實在完全同天婦羅扯不上關係,望落去只似普通日式鷄唐揚。

咬下去亦同居酒屋的鷄唐揚差不多,但表面唔夠香脆,咬落唔夠 juicy及熱辣辣,醃料味道亦麻麻哋。

北海道產吉列豬扒定食($158)有一小碟漬物、一碗味噌湯;吉列豬扒又有椰菜絲墊底;沾料方面有芝麻(及芝麻磨棒)、吉列豬扒醬汁及黃芥末 ⋯⋯ 基本上係一份非常完整的日式吉列豬扒定食,唯獨欠缺了配搭椰菜絲的柚子醋或芝麻柚子沙律醬。

吉列豬扒處理得並不出色,表面的麵包糠太細塊、咬落唔夠香脆;脆漿又未能緊緊包裹豬扒,未夾起已經鬆脫出來。

幸而豬扒質素幾好,豬肉香甜鬆軟多肉汁,加上連著少許脂肪,入口油潤。

蝦天婦羅冷烏冬($128)算是比較好吃的午餐定食。

蝦夠大隻、亦爽口鮮甜,天婦羅漿夠薄、亦夠香脆。

但唔知點解有薑蓉、有蔥花,偏偏欠缺天婦羅汁?用極粗身的讚岐烏冬作冷烏冬不太合適,入口結實,欠缺煙韌彈牙口感;總覺得扁身、粗幼適中的稻庭烏冬更適合用來炮製冷烏冬。

可能午市的料理款式比較普通,味道不見得很出色,也比不上吉列專門店及天婦羅專門店。

莫非要晚餐時段再來一次,試試 A5 山形牛涮涮鍋,才可真正品嚐到【味藏】的真正質素及烹飪水平?

員工好斯文服務有質素仲問有冇會員即場申請仲可以有九折免+1白湯雞肉烏冬面頭嗰啲粉原來係山椒粉食落條👅麻麻哋,聞落陣味仲好特別,優質雞肉很滑,份量很多烏冬很滑湯底有雞味如果可以上菜前雞湯,隔油更加好

在OpenRice找到這間餐廳但發現不是有很多食評,所以都有點猶豫是否值得一試。

不過我一直都是citysuper超市的擁躉,既然這餐廳是citysuper開的,應該也可以吧!最後當然是沒有失望啦!❤️餐廳的大廈不易找,全幢只有她一間餐廳,怪不得看來不是有很多人知道這間餐廳的存在 😂。

餐廳的裝修設計很有格調,窗邊的都是卡位,有置頂的屏風隔開卡位,不會看到其他枱,有私人空間之餘亦坐得舒服。

博多屋雙色冷豆腐 ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ ~ 好滑同有豆腐味,有驚喜宇都宮燒餃子⭐️⭐️⭐️~不錯,只是相對其他菜便比較普通三陸名物蒸蠔 ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️~ 蠔很新鮮、甜北海道產帆立貝蒜蓉牛油燒 ⭐️⭐️⭐️~ 食海鮮我都是偏愛原味,所以反而覺得蒜蓉牛油把帆立貝的味道也蓋過了,不過這也許是個人喜好的問題,這菜指明是蒜蓉牛油燒嘛😂色彩魚生飯 ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️~ 魚生是新鮮的,不過性價比低😂,純粹用來打卡多一點,所以下次應該不會再點特大蝦天婦羅 ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️~ 很好味呀!香脆得來,又沒有流失蝦的鮮味!山形縣產A5和牛薄燒飯 ⭐️⭐️⭐️~ 和牛當然是很好吃,不過真的很肥,所以有油膩的感覺,性價比也相對低博多居豆腐山芋蓉鐵板燒 ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️~ 夠特別,一定要試,不是隨意在其他餐廳吃到!雞白湯烏冬 ⭐️⭐️⭐️~ 好味的,把雞湯也喝完!

集合日本菜,蒸氣鍋,火鍋於一身,還可配搭日本酒品嘗,日本酒種類繁多,city‘super有得賣的日本酒牌子,這裏也可以試得到。

可以當作居酒屋,配搭小食及串燒等等。

內部裝修環境舒適,日系木色設計,有卡座但有點窄,部分靠窗卡位景觀望維園,視野開揚。

另外要讚一下,員工服務態度非常好,今次點了蒸氣鍋及海鮮鍋等等,食法講解專業用心,最後並送上日式甜品,屋企人食得開心。
