PALA is the latest addition to Amoy Street, opened just several weeks ago, but has fast become one of local's favourites, with expansion plans in clear sight.Was lucky enough to bump into the owner when I visited last week, and we received fantastic hospitality!PALA do have their clear differentiation, their pizza dough is really good made with an old Roman family recipe that had gone through 72 hours of fermentation process, with plentiful of organic ingredients that are packed with fibre, that leaves you without a bloated tummy after the enjoyment of pizza.Went for the 2 best sellers carbonara and arrabbiata. The carbonara actually didn't taste so much like carbonara, but I acknowledge their pancetta and pork cheek bacon creating an amazing delicate flavours, further accentuated by their creamy pasteurised egg yolk.The arrabbiata was mainly characterised by their spiciness with their homemade spicy olive oil and spicy salami. There's undoubtedly, a real kick to this PALA. It also came with a mild cheese mozzerella to balance the flavours out.The desserts were on the house, the owner had shared how the desserts (panna cotta and tiramisu) are close to sugar free. I absolutely loved the creamy texture of the tiramisu. Likewise for the Panna Cotta that was made with Erythritol as a sweetener.

叫左兩樣野兩個人!先來個Tuna Salad, 有點意外係咁既樣佢幾罐頭吞拿魚加左d 鷹嘴豆、洋蔥、扁豆、羅勒葉等材料撈埋,個seasoning 做得好好,下面一堆火箭菜,左下既車厘茄好新鮮 加胡椒好正Margarita Pizza $70 一個,係呀!$70 一大個,真係好抵!又好好食😋簡單材料但焗得好香,唔脆 但好煙韌,真係好好好好食環境又舒服😌坐左係出面秋涼天氣一流,好有外國Feel服務都好親切, 有人serve 但又唔收加一好意外整
When I was hanging out with my friends last Friday in Wan Chai, we passed by this Italianstyle restaurant. We were attracted by the open cafe next to the store and decided to try its main delicacy pizza. The enthusiastic proprietress gave us an exquisite menu immediately after we got in. We found a novel drink in the menu which is called infused water and we were curious about what drink is it. Then, the proprietress introduced to us that it is a calming energy water which has 3 flavours: ginger & lime, cucumber & lime and mint & lime. I ordered the ginger & lime one while my friend ordered the pure coconut water. The taste was fascinating since no ice was added to it so the taste was not diluted. It's probably one of the musttry in this restaurant! We also ordered Classica Panini, Caprese Salad and Bresaola Pizza. The salad was so fresh and the dressing was delicious! The ingredients of the panini was so plentiful so that the taste of each bite was so rich. The taste of the pizza was as appealing as its appearance and it's so crispy since it was cooked to order. With the autumn breeze and the appetizing food, I really had a good time here.
Had a super nice evening yesterday in the garden from Pala Restaurant in WanChai Amoy Street with 3 friends. Great location. Could sit outside Super nice crunchy Pizza Pala, very tasty. Never had such a good Pizza before in Hong Kong. Top taste. Could highly recommend Pala a la Arrabbiata and Carbonara. Roman styles .Good selection of white and red wines from Italy. The Pinot Grigio was very good we had one bottle for 4 person. After 2 of us tried the Rose Wine by glass. Good taste and cold, fits very good to the Pizza. The staff was very attentive and friendly. Music was good, perfect to chill. Outside smoking is allowed. Great atmosphere.
Was there on Saturday afternoon and the pizza is amazingly crunchy and 😋 tasty, never had this in Hong Kong before .Great location in wanchai , friendly staffs and inexpensive price with great 🍕 🍕 pizza.apua/ hawaiiana are my favourite 😋😋😋😋😋😋😋😋😋😋😋
