The overall taste is fair.The texture of the steak is quite tender in general, except that there are two to three pieces which are slightly too chewy.The blue cheese got a relatively strong flavor, which may not suit the taste of the majority.Therefore I would recommend other types of cheese for beginners.The amount is more than enough.For the steak salad, they really give a generous amount of sirloin steak as reflected in the photoFor those who have a big appetite, I am sure you won’t be disappointed by its serving

This is my only review on Open Rice. I am writing to share my experience with this restaurant.I have been a frequent customer of Purple Tomato, always ordering their steak salad, very overpriced but I still do it for the convenience and good steak quality. I’ve read the most recent comment on Openrice in respect of this restaurant but didn’t think it would be a problem as I never visited the place in person.Tonight I ordered as usual fromonline dining platform.Quick delivery.When I received it, the dressing was missing and no jalapeño I ordered which was a minor issue.I called the restaurant three times without luck. Fine, I calledonline dining platform and explained to them no one eats salad without dressing.After communication, I was told that Purple Tomato would send dressing and jalapeños. Wait for 45 mins and nothing. Calledonline dining platform again. After another 15 mins waiting,online dining platform then told me the following:“The restaurant is not cooperative. They are not going to send the dressing and are only willing to refund the dressing.If you request the full refund, you must toss the salad to the garbage and send a photo as evidence.”Well, seriously I was not trying to steal your salad. So, that’s two hours wasted, and that’s how Purple Tomato loses its royal customer who has been willing to spend more than HKD200 each time for their salad.

"Can you not read the menu, hurry up? "  This is the reply I got 2 days ago  when I asked which extra dressing I should choose for my  Sirloin Salad    at Purple Tomato. I wasn't slow at ordering. I only have 30 minutes for lunch (Plus they know me I'm a repeat customer).I was then ignored while they dealt with another customer. Perhaps the guy was still angry with me when I suggested to him a few weeks ago that he shouldn't use the same gloves for taking the money (which had lots of coins) and preparing the vegetables. I think he is the owner! Fine you might say,  it's worth putting up with some rudeness, and even some poor hygiene practices because the salads are good. Except they        aren't, not any more.  After waiting nearly 20 minutes I had to work my ... off  to chew the leather like flavorless beef. To be fair the lettuce was         crispy and the boiled egg was just how it should be in a salad;  nice and firm. The cucumbers and tomatoes, although fresh were just like the meat;     without any taste, sterile. It is no surprise that the place doesn't do much walk in business anymore and they are focusing only on online orders because they don't want to     deal with their customers in person. People ordering from them online will never see them using dirty gloves or even no gloves at all!                              And they don't have to respect their loyal patrons.So goodbye Purple Tomato, you were good but now you don't need me anymore, so you have become bad.

得知蘇杭街頭有間由2位外藉人士經營嘅餐廳，以沙律為主，咪諗住去試下餐廳只做外賣並冇座位提供沙律唔只有蔬菜，仲有牛肉，雞肉等可供選擇，價錢唔平，我就揀左照燒雞扒沙律客人可以揀多3種toppings (不另收費)，以及醬汁返到office打開盒，見賣相砌得好靚不過雞扒有點燶但都好味沙律本身已經包括車厘茄，生菜，青瓜及紅洋蔥3款toppings我就揀左雞心豆，粟米及牛油果，每樣野都好味，好新鮮dressings都有幾款可以揀，我就揀左唔辣嘅感到係用心製作下次再試下其他沙律

Hands down the best cobb salad in the area! The dressing was delicious. All the ingredients were so fresh, the lettuce was sweet and crisp! The portion is big, good balance of all ingredients. Highly recommendCobb salad真係好好味，所有材料都好新鮮。

沙律醬唔會太濃，啱啱好。
