This is a good place if you like a thin crust. There are thin crust places that try and make it as thin as possible, to the degree that it might as well not exist, and they seem to miss the point. La Roma's pizzas are soft, and they bend when you pick up a slice. If that's the pizza you want, this is a great option. The pizzas are wellseasoned, and the toppings all tasted great (I had the meat feast and the veggie), though they're not overloaded.The Monday option is buy one large pizza get one free, so it was two for $170 (with delivery), and the large pizzas are 16". The rest of the week, it's certainly not a bad option, but doesn't stand out from the crowd.

Their specials are fairly similar to most takeout places around, mostly weekly deals for free wings/pasta with the purchase of a large pizza. The best deal perhaps is Monday nights, where the freebie is a large pizza with the equal or lesser value of which.Alas, there arrives some criticism from those who know what you should get when you pay a certain amount of money, and below I have listed my own experience and have addressed my concerns with as much constructive notation that I feel is necessary for readers to get a good idea of what to expect:We ordered a large proscuitto pizza ($45), and an antipasto salad ($95). We ordered this on a Thursday night, which entitles us to a free order of wings (you can request nonspicy wings since their default flavoring is spicy).1) The Pizza Was sizeable, very tasty, and heavily accented with each bite thanks to the use of a high quality cheese. The toppings were rather plentiful, but certainly not what I am used to in the US. At $145, I would say for the sake of authenticity, it is maybe $20 too costly.2) The Salad I wish I can say I was only slightly disappointed with the antipasto salad, but that is not the case with this $95 addition that failed to complement the pizza is most every way. Normally for this amount of money, you get what we Americans like to call a "mound" of a salad, with finely assembled layers of freshly grated mozzarella, pepperchinis, olives, halved pepperoni and salami slices, and lots and lots of quality greens. And normally this should large enough to feed about four people, with a cost of about $65 HKD (about $8.50 USD), but this particular antipasto was very small, enough to barely feed two people. The cheese was hunks of bland mozzarella, and while there was some proscuitto thrown in, it certainly doesn't justify such a high price tag. With this, I am assuming the rest of the salads at this cost are of the same quality and size, which is very disappointing.3) The Chicken Wings The wings were pretty good, coated with nice Italian breading. They were also sizeable BUT you only get about 4. It is deceiving to say in the coupon that "One Spicy Wings Free", because we assume it is a full order. It you are paying $55 for only four chicken wings/drums normally, that is over $12 a wing/drum, which is pretty outrageous.With a little adjustment and an ear for a Westerner's thoughtful outlook, perhaps this place can work out to be something very special, attractive, and even economical.
