the worst lunch i ever had in Central...i had the lunch setpumpkin soup, fish of the day...the fish was not fresh...the mexican rice is so hard and tasteless....even the tea was bad!will not go there again!

This restaurant is located in Soho, one of the hot spot for restaurant in Hong Kong. It is one of the best restaurants for Mexican Cuisine, if you are looking for Authentic Mexican food, please try it during the dinner service instead of lunch. The décor is very South American alike, rustic furniture with Patron bottles by the door; you would definitely notice it is a Mexican restaurant as soon as you walk in.Cuisine: Mexican Food rating: 3/10*Service: 4/10 Ambiance: 4/10Price: HK$97pax* Food Rating: 6/10 is equivalent to 1 Michelin star, 8/10 to two Michelin stars, and 9/10 or 10/10 to three Michelin starsBlack Beans Soup (2/10)It was a very traditional black beans soup, but it was lacked a bit of seasoning and spiciness. Perhaps a little bit too water too. Chilli Con Carne with Mexican rice (4/10)A very standard Chilli co carne was served, no disappointed. Great flavour, but I think it could be spicier, for Hong Kong people, that’s about right. The Mexican rice was full of flavour, very well fried dry on the outside, yet it was sticky too. Chocolate Cake with Ice cream (4/10)Another no surprise dessert. It was as good as those you can get at star bucks, but with ice cream! HK$88 for a 3 courses like this, what a bargain this is! The service from the waiter was great, perhaps we were the only diners and the food came out rather quickly. Very impressive. However, the lunch menu is not the best way to enjoy a proper local authentic meal, though, great value. If you are craving for one, please visit during dinner service.Give me a thumbs up if you like it!

尋晚路過SOHO就試試呢間墨西哥餐廳。

店內都冇乜人，一入去就有位。

由於唔太識墨西哥菜，就求其叫侍應介紹啲特色小食食住先啦。

我同佢講左我完全唔食得辣，只要揀啲唔辣就得。

點知啲小食黎到一入口，就辣到咩咩咁…但係只得辣，無其他味感覺到。

到上埋個辣肉腸pizza, 以為唔太辣，點知仲係勁辣。

自問冇勇氣再食落去，唯有敗走，兩個人兩碟小食兩杯野飲都要三舊幾水埋單，真係好唔開心。

唔係佢啲嘢難食，但係以我香港人嘅口味黎講，墨西哥菜實在唔能夠吸引我。

We (my wife and I) arrived here on a Saturday evening (around 20:00) and we were the only patrons. Quite surprising as just a block away every restaurant on the midlevels was packed with people. We had been here once before, quite drunk with a friend, and had the nachos. We remember the nachos being great, but I cannot now vouch for the evidential status of my earlier impression. I might've liked them just because I was drunk.This time we got: steak fajitas, a chicken burrito, and two house margaritas.The salsa: As with any minimally decent Mexican restaurant, you get free chips & salsa at Tequila. The chips are pretty good; the salsa is lackluster: uniform in texture, nonspicy, thin, boring. 4/10The guacamole: Uniform in texture, too much sour cream. 6/10The tortillas: These were the most lifeless tortillas I've seen in a while. Utterly flat, thin, not pipinghot, not stretchy; boring, and white and that's it. 4/10.The fajita veggies: The onions and peppers were cooked great, and served on a sizzling fajita plate. 8/10The fajita meat: Highly disappointing. Normally steak fajitas are made from a marinated grilled slab of steak: nice and crispy on the outside, steaky and juicy on the inside. These fajitas however had much smaller strips of meat (I couldn't help think of moo shu pork) which had a distinctively Asian seasoning (rather than, you know, a fajita flavor). It was more like a beef stirfry than a fajita grill. 5/10Fajitas on the whole: 5/10My wife's burrito: I didn't eat much of it, but she liked it a lot. I will say that she got rice & beans but I did not. 7/10.Give me a moment here. I'm from Texas, and I know TexMex. This is not authentic Mexican food (which I also know), it's attempted TexMex (or sometimes CalMex, or whatever Jalapeno Poppers are supposed to be). I don't think that's bad, because I'm no great fan of authentic Mexican food (except for the fact that they can make it spicy!) Nevertheless, this isn't even good TexMex. It's not bad, it's just not good either.What's more our two entrees + 2 margaritas + 2 beers ran us about $550. That is overpriced. I know the midlevels are overpriced and Hong Kong Island is overpriced, but if I'm shelling out that much money for a meal, I expect a lot better than mediocre. Maybe that's why no one was there on a busy Saturday night.

喺中環番工，去邊度食晏都要等位，見呢間餐廳有好多吉位個餐牌啲lunch sets都幾吸引，所以就決定試試！我order咗個墨西哥薄餅quesadilla，之前未食過所以好期待！點知飲完個湯等咗半個鐘都未上main course！ 追個waiter但係佢就不斷敷衍話5分鐘就到，個waiter仲要好串咁講呢間餐廳唔係fast food！結果等咗個幾鐘而我哋又要趕番公司，冇咩食過嘢就要走！要喺呢度食晏，我諗lunch hour冇番三五個鐘都唔駛旨意嚟食！真係好失望嘅一餐！
