We randomly passed by this place last Friday and decide to give it a try.After quickly Googled what is the “musubi”, we’re worried at the beginning as we cannot imagine what will rice 🍙 and spam can be like.And here comes our first appetizer and we know we’re in the RIGHT place. 🥳“Hiro Panipuri Pops” the outer is super crispy and filled with minced curry beef. It’s seasoned well and tastes fantastic“Chicken Wings & Shishito” one of their signature appetizers. The deepfried chicken wings taste like Buffalo style. It’s a bit salty but should be nice if go with wine/beer/sake 🥂🍻🍶“Super Mega Musubi” I know it’s a calorie bomb but I just cannot stop 🤣. The outer is covered with deepfried potato chips (imagine the sound when you bite it) and with nicely seasoned spam and rice inside. Must try with the sauce which tastes like Siracha. “Quack Duck Musubi” we thought the Super Mega is the winner until this duck 🦆 shows up 🤩. Once you bite it, the combination of the rice, seaweed, and duck meat is just perfect. And it cannot go without the secret sauce the ginger & green onion sauce. The chef told us he got inspired by the traditional Siu Mei (燒味) and it turns out he found the perfect match for this Musubi. Cuz this one comes with some duck fat, dipping it into this sauce magically balances the flavor.Other food we tried that night:“Crab in a bag” 3.5/5“Classic Musubi” 4/5“Torched Eel Musubi” 4/5It’s an amazing night. And the people there are just so nice and friendly. Oh there’re another appetizer and dessert but we ate too fast and forgot to take the pictures 😂😂😂
