有人說雲吞麵是難登大雅之堂，都不無道理，二三十元一餐，對有錢人來說小費也不止這數目，今天特意介紹這間「好到極麵家」，進入店內，陳設富傳統中國特式，觀感相當不錯，我叫了一碗大雲吞麵32元及一杯凍豆漿8元，等了片刻，雲吞麵送到，賣相是附合廣式的做法，生麵蓋面而雲吞在下層，麵質是有點爽，但比起深仔記還有一段距離，雲吞是細細粒粒的手抓式包法，感覺上蝦的份量偏少，大部份是豬肉成份，枱上有淘大辣醬，放置醬油的器皿也相當别緻，整體感覺是可以。
在摩利臣山游完水，路經這商場入口，見到有這麵家的水牌，非常喜歡吃麵的我想買些回家試試。
上到八陣圖似的一樓商場，找了十八秒便找到這舖，細小得像以前街邊寫信佬的檔，牆上列著各種麵餅的價錢，有蝦子麵，雞蛋麵，瑤柱麵，鴨蛋麵，菠菜麵，甘筍麵等，本想買斤蝦子麵，但家中仍有樽蝦子未吃完，改買斤雞蛋幼麵，售價二十九元，比一般街市的粉麵舖貴了很多，但想到在外面吃碗麵也差不多價錢，便覺得到底都是好。
一個晚上，晚餐吃得早，到十時許便肚餓，心思思想吃個麵，打開盒子一看，一斤有十六個，即一兩一個，拿一個放入滾水中打散，倒去水份，如盒上所寫，不含鹼水，無須過冷河，我加點鹽巴、黑松露油和撒上蝦子，實行自己做個撈麵“江南Style”，吃一口，麵質很爽，有嚼勁，麵條幼細，無鹼水味，加上我的蝦子和黑松露油，真好吃。
