We were looking for what to eat for lunch at Thomson Road. And we planned to eat Japanese food. Suddenly, we saw the waitress of this restaurant saying lunch! We decided to give it a try. Delicious Filipino food, price is acceptable. Worth coming and eating. Welcome, everyone! Enjoy!
灣仔lunch 一向多人， 譚臣道d餐廳人多到唔想等。
偏偏係人群隔離有間餐廳唔多人，但係個門面睇唔出係賣d咩食物。
open rice search 下， 原來係菲律賓菜，就試試先。
lunch menu 有五六款， 第一樣係Chicken Afritada。
其實係咩？唔知就試下la。
都係$60 跟餐仲有餐湯餐茶， 會晤會太抵呀！！餐湯係忌廉湯，又有d雞湯，比一般的忌廉湯鹹少少有另一番風味。
餐飲揀左咖啡， 味道普通啦。
Chicken Afritada原來係少少甜酸又鹹鹹地既汁同雞肉，又有腸仔薯仔紅蘿蔔同紅椒。
都幾好食，有種住家菜的感覺， 一d都唔伏。
食落同平日食既碟頭飯差不多，又帶點新奇。
已故美食家Anthony Bourdain都講過菲律賓菜將會興起，都不是沒原因的。
食得好飽。
個人覺得餐廳最大吸引力就是餐廳本身。
客人不少都係菲律賓人， 店員都係地道菲律賓人（即係平日大家叫的姐姐）。
店裡裝飾都充滿東南亞氣氛。
彷如瞬間飛左去菲律賓一樣。
It’s so hard to find authentic and affordable Filipino food in HK and this place has become my new goto. Kind staff, quiet and peaceful atmosphere, AMAZING food. The portions are extremely reasonable for the price, and everyone in my group was really full after we finished eating. If you go on weeknights, the place is pretty quiet. Highly recommend!
After seeing the video on YouTube "Foreigner Tries Filipino Food in Hong Kong", Amore drew my attention and it did not disappoint! I went to Cebu many times and by far Amore's food is as authentic as you can get in the Philippines. I particularly like the crispy pata (crispy pork knuckle) it's huge and as crispy as Chinese style roasted pork, the stired fried seafood yellow noodle, the dish with dice pig ears, egg plant omelette and the best Chicken Wings!!The staff are super friendly, they serve beer, wine and fresh coconut juice. I will certainly come back again soon!!
