I have a friend who’s crazy over this place and finally it’s my turn to visit this place. It’s a cozy small cafe tucked in an alley. The interior design is very minimal and homey. There aren’t many seats so it gets occupied easily. They offer huge variety of tea choices and some cakes to go with the tea. My friend and I each ordered a cake and a latte. Hojicha Chiffon cake— the hojicha flavour was so intense! The chiffon cake was moist, and eating with the hojicha cream on top was PERFECT! two pieces of cakes are not enough, I need more! Hojicha latte— This was slightly light compared with the hojicha flavour of the chiffon cake. Nevertheless, it’s still a good choice if you are hojicha lover like me. Lingia first flush tea cake roll stuffed with mini mochi— The tea flavour was refreshing and the mini mochi was chewy. The cream was light and the roll was airy.Matcha latte—the matcha was strong yet not too bitter! And the balance between the milk and the matcha was on point! The latte wasn’t too milky!

又係簡約風嘅時間啦! 一入去就有治癒嘅感覺!仲要係喝茶嘅地方，感覺extra洗滌心靈我係終極hojicha粉絲 但係又唔多地方有佢嘅蹤影 所以決定hojicha alltheway!oh oh oh oh the mg!!!!!!! 個hojicha chiffon rich到呢😭😭😭😭😭😭😭 食到我雙腿抖震!!!!! 個pat cream是精華所在 見唔見倒係有幾thick!!!!!!! 有濃郁嘅hojicha味🤗 我絕對做得出齋啪成碗hojicha cream入口如果有人都好似我咁死都要食又hojicha飲又hojicha嘅話請食完蛋糕後用杯水清吓個口先再飲 如果唔係就淨係得茶味完全冇咗甜味 enjoy唔到佢最好嘅一面Black current flush呢就多謝先啦 我唔likey啲帶酸嘅drinks 但如果鍾意飲啲好清新嘅drinks嘅朋友仔就一定會好鍾意嚕味道：7.5/10 Basao TeaHojicha Latte $50Black Current Flush $55Hojicha Chiffon $55📍灣仔
有日經過月街，無意中發現呢間cafè，因為門口都企咗人等位，果日仲要係平日！上網search完⋯⋯Cool! 啲cake好吸引好彩去之前打個電話去問，佢哋話搽茶豆腐得番最後一件，仲可以幫我留今日星期六都預咗要等位，二來限制令少咗啲位😷除咗留起件豆腐忍唔住叫埋 Signature 之一嘅All mountain cake roll本身驚咁晏飲茶會眼光光等天光⋯⋯最後臨走都忍唔住叫咗杯 Matcha🍵Latte 外賣閒時平日會再去⋯⋯試哂所有 Roll Cake 味😍🤩🤪
It was supposed to be my diet day but I could not help trying the Basao cake with my frd and I did not regret at all afterwards. The cake was sweeter than I had thought but it could not cover the fragrance from the tea which was a pleasant experience. What was more interesting would be the smoky tea where I could taste that whiskylike smokiness yet it was the fresh tea. I have quit drinking but this reminded me of that smoky smell again. Highly recommend.
