Palmier puff is ever so popular with dessert lovers, including me. A nice little pack of butterfly pastry would easily make my day, or at least snack time if not the whole day (haha), and the products from Star’s Taste definitely fit the bill.Their puff pastry palmiers with a thin layer of sugarcoating are crispy and buttery which makes it very enticing, if not at all irresistible. Certainly, I too would crave for a warm and fresh baked butterfly biscuit sometimes, but for a readymade and reasonable priced one with decent quality to get you through the long hours at work, I reckon I have scored a bargain.The elegant and stylish packaging in the form of a purselike carton box is just the icing on the cake. Inside each box, there are around six to seven pieces, each coming in an individual package, which I always like for somehow helping me to stop myself from eating the entire box in just a morning without even knowing it.All in all, Star’s Taste is worth a try if you happen to enjoy cakes, cookies and chocolates!
今日收到友人G送來的一盒曲奇，香檳金色的包裝，大方得體。
正面開了一扇透明小窗，乍看才知是芝麻口味。
印象中，這個品牌除了佐敦和中環有門市，圓方的360也有產品發售。
小小一袋150g，大約有14片，薄薄的混了黑白芝麻，牛油味不重但非常香脆，芝麻香氣很純粹，感覺很健康。
唯一比較令人頭痛的是透明包裝袋比較堅韌，有點難拆開而已。
有時收到好友們所送的小禮物真是好開心, 皆因他們所揀選給我的食物很多都未試過, 而最特別是往往並非出自大型連鎖店的品牌, 要他們捐窿捐罅, 細心挑選, 我才有口福一嚐, 實在感激。
今次收到一盒包裝高貴大方的曲奇, 以一個金銅色印上網紋的硬皮盒盛載, 中間還有一個窗圈, 正可看見內裏的曲奇。
盒上還印了店名, 原來是出自星之味Star’s Taste品牌。
老實說, 不是友人送贈此曲奇給我, 我也不認識這品牌。
它主要出品三大款式的食物, 包括蛋糕、朱古力和曲奇, 而我今次收到的則是朱古力杏仁曲奇, 最喜歡便是果仁, 正!一盒重150g, 數數看共有約17塊, 最欣賞是塊塊獨立包裝, 既衞生亦方便攜帶, 又不用擔心開了之後要趕住快快吃掉, 最岩3點3口痕痕時拿一兩塊過下口癮。
長方形的朱古力杏仁曲奇, 不只加入了香脆的金黃色杏仁粒, 還有不少朱古力粒, 口感豐富之餘, 亦加添了朱古力的香濃。
最欣賞是它鬆化香脆而不覺太油膩, 一次過吃多兩三塊也沒有罪惡感, 那又怎忍得口呢?謝謝友人送上小心思, 又讓我認識多一個品牌。
這盒星味的曲奇真的不錯, 不知蛋糕和朱古力又如何? 下次有機會也要試試。
食友送了一盒出品自Star’s Taste的曲奇，蠻陌生的品牌。
上開飯啦搜尋，始知該店分別於中環和佐敦設有分店。
曲奇包裝蠻具心思的，紙盒右下角有一透明位置，貼有一塊曲奇的實物樣版，方便辨別。
打開紙盒，內有四格，除一格放有7塊獨立包裝的曲奇外，其餘三格均是8塊曲奇的。
換言之，一盒共有32塊燕麥紅莓曲奇。
獨立包裝，雖則較為衛生，但蠻浪費資源，且不太方便。
燕麥紅莓曲奇咬起來蠻香脆可口，牛油味濃，啖啖香甜耐嚼的紅莓乾，咬口和嚼勁甚佳。
然而，稍嫌甜味來得有點霸道。
小妹八卦地看了盒底的曲奇成份，除了牛油、蛋、全麥粉和燕麥皮外，還有帶甜的蜜糖、糖霜和紅莓乾，難怪甜度稍高了少許﹗
