Curious about the newly renovated Central Market, boyfriend and I decided to do some exploring and try out the various restaurants here. It seemed everyone else had the same idea as it was packed!The bottom floor is a food court. It was here we decided to just have a quick meal here. It seemed every where we looked, people were eating Hainan Chicken rice from this place called Pulau. They had an afternoon tea menu. Menu is in English and Chinese. There is no 10% service charge as it's a food court. Ordering is either at the counter or for more convience (and the shops actually do prefer it), you order by scanning a QR code located in various areas of the food court area. So, we basically found a table and decided to give it a try.Ordering from the QR code was very smooth and easy. It had a list of all the food stalls with the menu neatly listed. After ordering, it tells you the approximate time it will be ready. It then sent an email informing you the order was put through and will email again when the order is really ready. You then bring the QR code of your order to them to scan but the restaurant had a bit of a problem so be sure to also have your order number ready as well.We decided to share a tea set. This is the Hainan Chicken Rice with Singaporean Laksa ($82). It doesn't come with a drink. Upon arrival, it looked pretty good. The chicken was slice into super thin pieces. The chicken was moist and tender. Not too much fat. Fairly decent. The cucumbers were fresh and crisp.The rice was really good. Not too oily but packe with flavor.Boyfriend had the laksa. He said it was very spicy with a lot of coconut milk which is fine with him as he does like it with more coconut milk. There was plenty of items found in it like shrimp, tofu and fish cakes. All very good. The only thing was the noodles were clumped together. Probably due to rushing out orders at a food court, they probably had all the noodles ready in a bowl and poured the soup on top.The food was decent enough. A good option in the area.

中環街市終於開幕啦！ ！某日星期六，去咗行下，入面都幾多食肆。
地下嗰層係food court，有好多唔同國家嘅食物，今次我哋就揀咗呢間新加坡菜。
本身想試吓肉骨茶，不過已經售罄了（嗰陣時係下午兩點到），不過唔緊要啦，試吓其他囉！其他都幾吸引丫最後我哋一個揀咗蝦麵，一個揀咗巴東牛肉。
由於喺food court 搵唔到位，我哋決定買外賣。
蝦麵賣相幾靚仔，不過食落就覺得麻麻啦，應該係話冇乜特別，所以以呢個價錢，應該就唔會翻兜。
另一個嗌咗巴東牛肉，呢個反而幾有驚喜，啲牛肉好淋好入味，辣辣地幾惹味仲要啲飯係有啲斑斕香味嘅飯（雖然佢綠色嘅賣相有啲恐怖）我巴東牛肉我哋應該會再食！
見中環街市活化後，地下一層為food court，引進了不少餐廳，今次先試這間新加坡餐廳～新加坡海南雞飯配蘇東魚丸雞湯 $82雞飯方面，尚有雞油香味，可是油香仍未夠飽滿，而且略嫌少了香茅、斑蘭等香料香味。
雞肉方面，雞肉肉質滑而不老，雞皮點黑醬油略嫌較咸，建議點少量便可。
新加坡大蝦喇沙摻摻 $78雖然湯底有椰香味，但魚蛋同蝦食落去無咩咬口，食落魚和蝦鮮味不足。
半熟蛋能做到流心，幾好食，不過對我來說，湯底配四季豆就唔太適合。
整體份量足夠，食落都飽肚，但食完有點口渴。
麵質方面，摻摻是米粉加油麵。
這兩款麵不太能掛湯，選米線應該會略勝一籌。
整體來說食物質素可能頭幾日開張，較為忙碌，期待進步👍🏻💪🏻💪🏻
