First time I've been to this restaurant, chose it because its reviews on openrice were pretty good.I would not recommend it.The food is mediocre at best, I ordered the ox tongue yakitori and it was so chewy that I finally gave up and had to spit it back out.The crab salad was also pretty sub par, even the ones that you can buy at Great at Pacific Place are better.Our tea was never refilled, and after the people who sat next to us left their dishes weren't cleared away the entire rest of the time that we were there (that's not that big of a deal, but you just rarely see something like that).We asked for the bill but the guy clearly forgot about it as he was going around filling other people's tea cups and taking orders for the next 15min.Bottom line, the food was not very good and not nearly good enough for me to want to go back despite the bad service.

so my brother and I decided to come here for lunch few days ago after seeing the ratings of this place I had really high expectations because of the 27/5/0 3.8 ratings on openrice.the atmosphere and environment may seem a bit worn down, but it kind of has that authentic Japanese feeling to it, so it did not bother me too much. anyways, the food part is where it gets bad, I ordered the Japanese steak set (I think it was just slightly less than $100) and my brother ordered the ginger pork rice. My steak was very very average, it was not terrible, but far from 'good.' However, even though we were the 4th earliest customer, my brothers meal took 35 minutes to arrive. And because mine came within 10 minutes, I finished my meal maybe like 15~20 minutes before his even arrived. A simple stir fried pork with ginger dish taking over half an hour?! That is just unheard of, especially considering the lack of other customers at that time. We were of course very upset, but what made it even worse was that there was no apology for it coming so late, just simply inexcusable.the price would make it seem like its good value, but I know there are tons of places which serve much better food for roughly around the same price definitely will not come back again.

之前都黎食過佢既饅魚飯，覺得真係好好食，饅魚肥美，啲汁好好味，濃度適中，唔會太稀或太稠。

我落order既時候都有同果waiter講要多啲汁，順便可以撈飯食嘛...!點知黎到既時候我見唔係好多汁..諗住再叫果waiter俾多少少汁，佢居然話要收五蚊雞...頓時火到黎啦...大佬呀，我宜家叫饅魚飯要多汁都好正常不過呀...我唔係叫豚肉飯加饅魚汁呀....況且你地已經加左價...加成10%....呀...un好食啲咁既服務態度都會趕走曬啲客架....另一次同左幾個同事去食飯，我地有三個人都叫左饅魚飯，黎既時候都係唔夠汁..咁叫果waiter攞啲饅魚汁啦，跟住佢話：啲汁成煲架喎，我要成煲攞俾妳呀？又火到黎啦...OMD...妳間餐廳咁大，段估都唔會冇碟仔之類啦......妳真係成煲攞俾我先算啦！

已忘記有多久未來過，是日lunch time入去已feel到熱鬧氣氛，侍應們急急腳托住Ｄ魚set走來走去，得意OR甘多人讚鰻魚飯，又平，我諗都唔諗就整個試吓，係唔錯跟set的笳子要讚面屎湯亦有內淊友人的魚生set無言式但亦見大件新鮮另友人的燒銀雪魚就細咗Ｄ，睇落人地的燒花鮫魚好似好得多

想簡單吃個午餐，想起一番，這裏旺中帶靜，食物不錯。

要了一個壽司定食＋紫菜烏冬，和馳名的鰻魚飯。

烏冬有點滑有點煙韌，湯鮮甜。

壽司雖無甚特別，但每件魚生都略厚，吃得滿足呢。

鰻魚飯仍然附上原條肥美的鰻魚，尤其美味帶點甜的醬汁，令軟香的白飯錦上添花。

地道的一番，簡單又一餐。
