I went there with a friend before the Bowie' show. And it's only an hour away so we kept chase our order, and much to our surprise, we did finish the set dinner in a limited time (normally French take a proper meal for hours) with the customer oriented service. It was a four course set for about $200. The appetizer was not bad (shrimp cocktail? I hardly remember) The soup was spinach based, very rich with good aroma. The entree was duck breast, with baby carrots and herbs on the side, both texture and taste were good. And finally the desserts, creme brulee the burnt brown sugar topping and the creamy custard (sweeten enough but not heavy) beneath gave a pleasant experience as I finished it :) At last, a cup of coffee, OK la . The dining area was roomy and cozy. Next time (if I am not in a rush), I will certainly get some reds to pair with the food and make it a perfect dining.

Sorry that, I should comment on "POMME DE TERR II" at WanChainear HK convention & Exhibition Centre, rather than "POMME DE TERR".At a dinner there, I experienced no good especially the service attitude. I was shocked that there was a discrimination that may be we did dressed well and look wealthy, the other waiter/waitress were quite good in service, but the shop manager, I believe he is, short and fat, his attitude is totally no good to us. We did pay more than $400 for 2 persons, is it too cheap that to serve us better ?First, friend & I and even the waitress who took us the order clearly remember that we asked the tuna is fresh or cooked served in the salad, she said fresh.Finally, it turns out cooked and was the canned one. I did not mind it is cooked or not, but the manager seems quite impolite and said that this is what what french tuna ... salad ... and try to point out it was our fault that we should be understood that that kind of tuna ...??? salad should be cooked. And I requested the waitress who took the order to clarify but he seems not willing and immediately said, she must hear the wrong thing.... I don't believe she heard the wrong thing, because the waitress did repeat what we asked about the order, but just wonder why the manager so insisted, and without saying sorry about that.When I ordered drinks and ask that fat manager, is there any other drink without alcohol ... ? He said with impatient attitudehow about coke or lemon tea ...but I said I don't like these, and said is there any other drinks like soda with juice (this is quite common in many french restaurants), he just strictly replied NO. And I just asked once more to see if it is really not available, he said, why don't you try lemon tea ... Anyway, shall i ordered a wine (higher price) that he should be satisfy ... this was what I feel from him though he did say. another thing. a speghetti we ordered had served with "Pepper" powder or "black pepper" which I ordered and emphasis to the waitress that please take out any pepper for us before ordering completed.I reported this to the restaurant but the manager insisted that "Mushroom" white source pastawon't have pepper ... very insist and didn't stand at a position of the consumer to think thing. I was not playing him, but just don't like pepper which I am very sensitive to that, even a little I can taste it out.Overall, very bad attitude....
