I have been ordering my children's birthday cakes from Ferris Wheel for over a year. Bernice is a great baker, and very friendly and accommodating. The first time I ordered a sponge cake and then learned that I actually preferred butter cakes. Ever since then, I order small cupcakes with buttercream icing to give out in class on the actual birthday, and a butter cake for the party. The cakes have a lovely tender crumb, and are just right in terms of sweetness.This time around we have gotten ambitious and Bernice is making a black forest cake!!We have been keeping things simple in terms of design, but in her shop she has tons of photographs showcasing her cake artistic talent as well. Highly recommended.

I have been here a few times, on my recent visit I collected my preordered custom 3pound 3D cake among readily available cupcakes and mouses.Their flavours are superb, well balanced allowing both young and eldery to enjoy (not too sweet and packed full of flavours you dont really ifnd in cake shops nowadays).It is unlike franchise cake shops, where it is pricey and just plain sweet.Ferris Wheel is great especially if you want your cake to be original and special.The staff and Head Baker is willing to give advise on ideas and also discuss styling for your custom cakes aswell as custom content (what it taste and consists of)!!The place may be a little awkward to find for those unfamiliar with Sai Kung, however it is worth the adventure to find such a gem of a store.I highly recommend cake lovers or those who are seekign something special.Not pricey and tastes as good as it looks!

Although it is a small shop, it provides a variety of cakes and cupcakes to choose from.The owner and the staffs were nice and helped us to pick our favourite cakes patiently. I chose an earl grey mousse cake.It tasted superb! Thumbs UpWhat a right combination! Strawberry Cheesecake was nice too! Not too sweet and the texture is so soft! Such a refreshing treat after street food.Before I left, I can't helping buying those easterthemed cupcakes.They were good in both taste and apperance.Can't wait to try other cakes next time being here!All in all, worth to trySadly, I am failed to upload photos here(:

This cake shop which was opened in December last year is finally listed on OpenRice.It is hidden in the old lanes of Sai Kung.The shop has a nice dreamy name called FERRIS WHEEL and the logo makes you think of macarons because of the circles around it.It also reminds me of Ferrero Rocher because of the colour!There is a cute Ferris Wheel display.In the middle there is a glass cabinet of cupcakes and cakes.I ended up getting the Earl grey mousse and the chocolate cupcake.Both were surprisingly good and I am so glad there is finally a decent cake shop in Sai Kung because the rest are local village style bakeries which I do not like.I was really impressed with the cake box and bag too.★☆★☆★☆★☆★☆★☆★☆★☆★☆★MR.
