平日約三五朋友吃飯！近近地係公司副近，而且又有優惠卷公司姐姐推介下⋯就來食平日人唔多，大多係街坊或好似我地咁係副近工作的人來⋯主打係龍蝦🦞海鮮但冇生蠔食，唔緊要那，我們都唔會得好多，但🦞🦐🦀🐚就可食好多，而且唔怕冇，佢都加得好密一定有得食其他都係一般自助餐都有嘅熱食，但今次係粵式主題有金錢雞、百寶鴨⋯甜品算一般般種類唔多⋯龍蝦都好大隻，仲好多膏又啲有子我就勁食龍蝦蟹腳都好好食😋另外每人都有一件鮑魚穌！食完緊係來個沙律清清再戰那！

港島太平洋酒店嘅buffet，不嬲都以價廉物美見稱， 酒店環境舒適，而且服務周到，自助餐的每款食物都經過精心挑選， 所以我每款都會試下 酒店大約三個幾月就會轉一次食物嘅風格，今次係大馬滋味台灣風， 可以食盡台灣同馬來西亞嘅美食， 特別推介係自助餐嘅龍蝦冷盤， 真係啖啖肉㗎！另外仲有特色小食雞蛋仔， 海南雞飯，都令我垂涎三尺， 住港島嘅朋友，千祈唔好錯過呀😋😋😋

The most outoftheblue dining experience I've had in a while.We walked here from High Street, with hopes of finding a place for cake and dessert along the way unfortunately there were none, therefore when we saw Island Pacific hotel we walked in. I knew the cakes here wouldn't be very good as you'd expect of such hotels. Oh well. I just needed something sweet after lunch. Should've gone to PCC instead. Service:Good! No kidding. When we entered the restaurant, the waiter asked us whether we wanted to have lunch buffet. No. We just want the cakes on display downstairs. Oh...sure. You can sit over there. Farther away from the buffet table. Fair enough. He sat us down and poured us some water, then handed us the menu. The desserts on the menu were around $6080. Not what we wanted. We had spotted some cakes which cost around $30 in the display shelf downstairs. So we told him we wanted the cakes downstairs instead. In the end we got what we wanted. because afterall, it was a simple request. Food:Blueberry cheesecake =]It was cheesy and cold, and quite soft, but not light. It was filling. The blueberries were probably canned. Not fresh blueberries either canned or blueberry jam. The crust was made of graham crackers or digestive biscuits not bad. I would recommend this if you were to have any dessert at all here. Because the other item we ordered was simply unpalatable. Strawberry custard tart >< The only good thing about this dessert is the strawberries. Large, red, fresh and juicy. Everything else can go down the bin. Custard: tasteless, not evensweet . Crust: bland, hard, tasteless. The tiny balls glued onto the side of the strawberry: never good. I think you know what I'm talking about. Those little balls arenevertasty. I don't understand what purpose they serve. Conclusion:There really is no need to visit this place if you don't mind the other restaurants in the district. Of course the environment is more comfortable and the service is much better, but I am not very optimistic about the buffet food. I think lunch buffets are $150/head. Desserts include poor quality cakes and...multicolored jellies. Just so you get a brief picture of the quality of food they serve.
