Ovule Bakery, a vegan bakery in Sham Shui Po, is absolutely my favourite vegan bakery in town. I was so thrilled to learn about its opening, which means I get to enjoy the taste from Sow Vegan more frequently without breaking my bank for vegan fine dining (which is very nice once in a while).I have already tried quite a number of items from Ovule Bakery, and all of them are ohsogood!My favourite are these Nam Yu Break Sticks. These crunchy bread sticks were nicely flavoured with nam yu (red fermented bean curd), which had a really nice aroma, yet not too salty to make you thirsty. It made a great snack!Other bakery items I tried:Genmaicha Cream Bun:Fluffy bun filled with nice and strong green tea flavoured cream.Taro & "Pork" Floss Milk Toast:Very filling milk toast filled with delicious taro paste and vegan “pork floss” which tastes very much like the real thing!Fig & Walnut Sourdoughne of my favourite so far, superb sourdough with delicious sweet fig and walnut pieces.Rosella Apple Bagel:Excellent bagel with a floral apple taste.Many more great items to taste in the new year of 2021!

深水埗現在竟成為純素天堂，真叫人始料不及啊！最近在楓樹街上開了一間全新的純素麵包店 Ovule Bakery，由大家熟悉的純素私房菜 sowvegan 主理，麵包都沒有蛋奶成分，外型和口味都好吸引呢！各位純素的朋友記得來試試看。

純素麵包店 Ovule Bakery 在楓樹街遊樂場隔離，跟這區的咖啡店都非常接近，一場來到不妨順便試多幾間店嘛。

純素麵包店一眼睇晒，一邊係櫃台，另一邊有幾個可以現場坐低咬包的座位。

純素麵包品項共有 12 款，價位由 HK$26 HK$75，我係平日搭正開門時間就落到去，所以有齊所有款可以望到買到。

最大個的係酸種麵包，其實歐包好多都無用蛋奶，所以感覺唔算最新奇。

旁邊的牛角包就值得一試勒，因為牛角包的重點是牛油酥皮，無牛油都整到出來又好食係好犀利既。

牛角包有原味和朱古力味兩款，我梗係揀用左70%朱古力的啦。

粉紅胡椒粟米貝果配搭好似幾有趣，後面的薑黃南瓜都係走養生溫補系列。

前面的卷卷包用左 Biscoff 醬，看起來有點像我喜歡吃的花生醬卷。

旁邊的是原條牛奶吐司，據說係用豆奶取代牛奶，其中一款仲係香芋素肉鬆味幾特別。

有些少懷舊口味的南乳麵包條，可以用來配濃湯之類食？Dirty Chocolate Croissant 髒髒巧克力牛角酥 HK$42髒髒牛角包入面有一層層朱古力醬，吃起來都幾歡樂，酥皮包也的確做到酥脆感覺，我諗入焗爐烘熱少少再食會更正，這款值得推薦。

Genmaicha Cream Bun 玄米茶忌廉麵包 HK$35這個忌廉檳據說是招牌款，上面有類似菠蘿包的脆皮，入面則有純素忌廉，整體來說都唔會甜。

入面的忌廉餡比想像中少，我仲以為係成個包塞到滿果種添。

雖然我已經戒左澱粉唔再係麵包控，但香港有純素麵包店出現係幾令人振奪，新店開業這個禮拜，去買麵包仲有折扣優惠，快去買幾個慢慢食啦！

Walking around Sham Shui Po, I came across a minimalistic shop. Or more correctly, a bakery.The bread was shown in  display case like museum pieces. The staff was very enthusiastic, explaing they were a vegan bakery using no dairy or eggs.  The goods are actually baked in Kwun Tong but they are brought over here for sale.They had a variety of products. Each was labelled in English only. As it's take away, there is no 10% service charge.I chose a genmaicha cream bun ($35). It was placed in a paper bag. I've had a lot of vegan bread but mostly I've not been too impressed. They were either hard or dry. But not this! This was fabulous! The bun was soft and fluffy. The top had a sweet crumbly matcha taste.There was a decent amount of filling. The cream was smooth and the taste of the tea was strong.Possibly one of the best vegan bread I've had. Will definitely be back to try out other items!
