Not very keen on trying out Bubble Teas,as it continually disappoints. Yet walking by this new outlet, their Signage and some Magazine's Tasting Results caugh my eye. 2nd in Hong Kong? WIth a score of 7.5 ?Well ok, let's give it a try to see if I can buck the trend from receiving bad ones lately. ***********************The signature Black Sugar Tea with Pearls tasted a bit like the black sugar upon the 1st sip.After that? Very Bland.Virtually no tea taste. Not much artificial milk taste (奶精) here, unless many other shops, but then, not much milk aroma either! Pearls were bland as well, texture was rubbery rather than chewy.*********************************My next shops to try will have to be COME BUY (the no.1 Placed shop),also 真珠 Face(because someone said that was good!).I still prefer 貢茶 the best for now, but just not the branch I'd written right before this! Man its frustrating with Cold Milk Teas out there!The Maxim's MX one I had lately had the most potential, but not cold enough.May be I'll buy one and refrigerate it more myself as a solution !
