With open air seats overlooking a tranquil pond as the backdrop, @thehideout in Mui Wo has taken over Instagram by storm, so we went to check it out for ourselves. What you need to know before you go:1. Book in advance online (hard to walkin) 2. Check the ferry/ bus schedule (Central Pier Number 6/ 3M from Tung Chung)3. Refer to the map on how to get there (it’s a 10 minute walk from the pier and you’ll pass through a parking lot) 4. Arrive 10 minutes early (to snatch the good spots as it’s free seating) 5. 2 hours dining limit (they’ll call you to inform your time is up) 𝐊𝐲𝐨𝐭𝐨 𝐇𝐚𝐧𝐝 𝐖𝐡𝐢𝐬𝐤 𝐌𝐚𝐭𝐜𝐡𝐚 𝐋𝐚𝐭𝐭𝐞 𝐇𝐊𝐃𝟓𝟖The pretty presentation with a frilly fourleaf clover latte art enchanted me at first sight! Tastewise, it was more on the milky and creamy side that suited my preferences. 𝐂𝐡𝐢𝐜𝐤𝐞𝐧 𝐁𝐫𝐞𝐚𝐬𝐭 𝐕𝐨𝐝𝐤𝐚 𝐏𝐞𝐧𝐧𝐞 𝐇𝐊𝐃𝟏𝟒𝟎The penne had a sharp flavor accent, which made it a little spicy for me, but luckily the perfectly grilled chicken breasts totally made up for it.𝐏𝐚𝐫𝐦𝐚 𝐇𝐚𝐦 𝐏𝐢𝐳𝐳𝐚 𝐇𝐊𝐃𝟏𝟓𝟎Parma ham and rocket leaves are essentially an irresistible combination. 近年好多小店都進駐離島區，大家進行離島小旅行嘅時候可以有更多選擇。
The Hideout選址梅窩，用貨櫃改裝做出餐區同選物店，用餐區係鐵皮頂，另外仲有湖邊座位再加少少沙灘椅，又有芒果樹（好似無）又有香蕉樹，有一種亞熱帶輕工業戶外露營風（開始唔知自己講乜）。
好多朋友都係為左個湖邊打卡位而山長水遠入黎朝聖，大家都好識做，坐到咁上下時間影完相就會讓位。
食物方面有人話好差，我就覺得唔算好差，只係黎得呢啲地方大概都知咩料，影下相chill下咪幾好，唔好咁大怨氣啦。
我都明白作為一間餐廳應該要用食物打動大家，而唔係只有打卡效果。
🍝Pancetta Vodka Rigatoni近年真係多左好多餐廳有得食Rigatoni（短管意粉？），大概就好似長通粉咁樣，不過係平切口同埋粗少少。
暫時未遇到有邊間餐廳整得好好食，大部分都係普普通通，好似發揮唔到佢嘅特性咁，或者就係呢個原因所以外國人唔鍾意食長通粉。
純粹只係視覺上有一種好豐盈嘅感覺。
🍕Parma Ham Pizza其實味道都ok嘅，不過拎出黎就好似frozen pizza咁。
☕️SOE Tonic有人會好鍾意espresso tonic，我就麻麻地，純粹係個人口味問題，同餐廳無關。
基本上呢杯野係幾慳水慳力，出個espresso加杯tonic water，然後自己倒埋一齊，營造到有得飲又有得玩，好似好fun咁。
呢個都唔係餐廳嘅問題，係呢個飲品嘅根本性問題。
至於SOE (single origin espresso)都係視乎個人口味嘅問題，一般espresso我都係偏好blend。
🍵Kyoto Hand Whisk Matcha Latte唔錯嘅，不過無乜研究，所以都唔講太多。
🍹Passion Fruit Soda兩個字，好飲。
其實甜甜地嘅梳打基本上都唔會死錯人，最緊要係唔會死甜。
漸變橙色嘅飲品擺喺湖邊影相都好stand out。
我地今次同朋友去離島玩下，特登預約呢間ig 打卡到癲左既cafe，如果想去記得早d 上網book位🙈，聽聞好full booking。
價錢算中上價格，如果大家想逃離市區去離島避世飲杯咖啡，推薦呢間😋。
而且佢地服務好細心，會準備埋蚊怕水，以防萬一戶外比蚊咬。
餐牌好似會經常轉換所以去到要睇下現場餐牌😆。

環境氣氛：★ ★ ★ ★ ★入去環境已經覺得好有度假feel，好似與世隔絕左😆，望住池塘食野都特別chill。
🥯食物方面Hideout breakfast $150依👩🏼見解應該同all day breakfast 既意思都差唔多。
但係佢係唔同出面既all day breakfast 不論味道外貌都唔似😂。
佢既味道好新奇，睇落似薄餅，個醬汁睇落似肉醬味但又唔係肉醬味，少少辣辣地都惹味，再配埋個火腿加蛋咬一啖好滿足🥹。
Belgian Banana Waffle $140窩夫好香香蕉味，偏軟身，仲配左d杏仁會有d咬口😋，除左雪糕仲有配忌廉同窩夫一齊食都ok🤤。
Pizza(prams ham)$130Pizza 係番茄醬味，係薄皮比較脆身，連埋ham一齊食都好夠味😆，好岩多人一齊share。
Matcha with Gelato (green tea) $90依個抹茶係暖暖地倒落個雪糕，食落會有種好奇妙冰火感覺😂，抹茶味好香，因為配埋雪糕會抵消左抹茶既苦味🙈，感覺好食左。
Teriyaki Chicken Sandwich $135三文治超好食，味道似照燒雞扒汁既味道甜甜地好開胃，而且份量好大份，一個人食會太大個😅，兩個人share就岩岩好🤤。
☕️飲品方面Peach Soda $85梳打就偏甜，但食咁多野再配杯梳打就好爽😆。

同同事請左半日假，想揾個地方hea下、chill下，就見到ig好多人打卡嘅梅窩cafe！個地點有啲偏，距離碼頭有一段路，但勝在夠偏，可以睇下自然風景。
我地一早book左時間，入到去自己揀位坐。
我地叫左一個banana chocolate toast share，各自叫左一杯野飲，我叫左matcha latte~ 個拉花pattern好靚個toast 整得夠脆身，加左朱古力醬，夠晒邪惡，放埋啲野飲一齊係個湖邊影相打卡，個feel好正。
留係個度一個下午，都真係好chill呢🍃🐾
