this was my first encounter with le cheteau, a restaurant that is one of a kind around kowloon city. we arrived in a company of 6 for supper and we ordered the following:crab salad with avocado: it came in a nicely presented dish with chopped lettuce and some other vege topped with REAL sweet fresh shredded crab meat, caesar dressing and parmesan cheese, it is accompanied with slices of avocado and tomato, the dish was cleared in no time thai style beef salad: this dish is spicy and not everyone at the table can take it (e.g. me)but for those who like spicy this is the dish for u..it came with fresh mixed salad vegetables topped with a generous amount of thai style stir fried beef and vegetablesgreen peas soup: simply mouth watering!! i wasn't expecting it to be that good as to be honest i dont like eating green peas..but this soup surprised me, it seems to be made with real completely blended peas topped with bread crumps and tomato dices, u can order extra toasted bread to company ur soupbeef ribs: another higly ranked dish that came with a generous portion of juicy bite size beef with side vegetablesrack of lamb: this wasn't my cup of tea although it was the most expensive dish of the night..probably because i can't take the mustard seeds but my friends really liked it especially the special tasty sauce that came with itspaghetti with salmon, mushroom and tomato sauce: it was another surprise of the day with such cheap priceportugese style chicken rice: it came with a big pot of portugese chicken and a separate dish of rice, the dish was very tasty but some said it lacked the tasteof coconut saucewe actually couldnt finish the food as we are all too full already, but of course we didnt want to waste the good food so we ordered a take away..overall, i think this restaurant is not bad=) those who like good food must try le cheteau!!

相隔唔夠一個月，再嚟呢度食，不過今次係同女友嚟，因女友睇完小弟嘅食評後念念不忘，於是就捨命陪君子la..今次唔單只老闆，就連老闆娘都係度監場。

一坐低就向我哋推介個蟹肉牛油果露筍沙律，就聽佢話整個...蟹肉生拆，鮮味非同凡響，女友特別喜歡(因為佢非常懶拆殼)，其他配菜亦非常新鮮，呢度菜食得幾滿意...女友想飲湯，就叫個fish chowder。

女友覺得不俗，我就覺麻麻 湯算幾濃，料亦足，但湯嘅魚鮮味不足，料還料，湯還湯，兩者不相往來。

呢個有D失望...上次記得講過要試吓佢哋嘅葡菜，於是諗都唔諗就堅持要個葡國雞，結果換來另一個失望 椰香味不夠，面亦冇攞去焗；雞係雪藏貨，淡而無味，依然係雞還雞，汁還汁，大角咀神厨館都做得俾佢哋出色。

越食越唔開心>.<最後叫咗個木槺布甸，甜度係夠，卻唔夠滑，更遑論跟板樟堂嘅九如坊相提並論...可堪告慰嘅係老闆娘依然好熱心咁問我哋嘅意見，我亦都照直講...希望以後佢哋有改進la..個OK臉係因老闆娘及D蟹肉而俾嘅...
