Um...昨天和朋友閒逛中環,本身想去試試豚王的,但是去到以經關店了.所以又閒逛去到峉里閣門口,不如一試的心態去食.我試是黃薑飯沙嗲餐餐:餐飲一杯,甜品一款,沙嗲串燒三支和黃薑飯1,價錢合理2,飯味有椰香,不過多吃好像有點"流"3,肉質都ok.不會"鞋"4,服務ok.耐心講解(果個可能係老闆)要求飯要多汁都無話唔得,黑面等情況5,因為我地比較夜,收鋪都無話趕客,隔離枱先過我地黎,我地走佢地仲坐緊.6,奶茶夠滑,同埋選擇多
第一次嚟食,好彩中午時間唔算多人,有五款套餐,我叫咗咖哩雞飯餐,同事分別叫咗蕃茄龍利柳飯&香茅豬扒荷包蛋飯,可選例湯或甜品和飲品,我叫咗例湯冬瓜湯,味道較淡,無特別,同事叫甜品喳咋&椰汁黑糯米,我見黑糯米好似都,幾多,應該唔錯,而我的咖哩雞飯都多雞肉,咖哩好入味,好味,但同事的豬扒飯較乾,無咩汁,要加些豉油調味,總括來說,$37在中環來說都合理,好多飯,夠飽!
Felt like having something spicy for lunch today, and having read the reviews here, I thought I would just give this joint a try.This restaurant looked busy enough; it was hardly 12:30pm and almost all the tables were already occupied.The lunch menu consisted 5 different varieties of curries.The price of $37 was inclusive of a soup/dessert and a hot drink.A quick glance at the dishes on the other tables told me that I might have come to the 'wrong' place.May be I should have just left then but I decided to stay and see if this place really lived up to the comments posted here.I opted for a 'duck leg in Malaysian sauce' ... whatever that meant.This came almost immediately neither the rice nor the meat was warm, not to speak of hot!The duck was chewy, tasteless and the sauce was something that lied between a diluted ketchup and a sweet and sour sauce straight from a bottle.Before I was half way through, the cold drink that I ordered with a $5 extra, a Chendol, and the dessert, sticky rice in coconut milk, were laid in front of me.By this time, I held no expectation on the quality but I tasted them nonetheless .... just to confirm. Yes, with Malaysian/Singaporean food it can be difficult to get the taste right but there are some pretty decent restaurants in Wanchai and Kowloon.If such quality can draw in crowds like what I saw just now, why would the owner want to improve?Very disappointing!
曾經，這兒是我的飯堂。
曾經，我每天路過都會逗店前的貓兒。
曾經，在離開舊工作地方，只要路經也會幫襯的，為的，是那真正味美的咖哩，也為了一份人情味。
有段時間在中環工作，因為愛貓，常常到這兒吃飯兼逗貓，而且這兒的外賣咖哩飯只賣20元(不包飲品，現在好像22元)，實在便宜，久而久之，差不多每天都幫襯，無論是堂食還是買回辦事處吃；而為何吃極都不厭?除了便宜當然味道是最主要因素。
我素愛咖哩，得悉有一咖哩專門店已愛不惜手，那濃濃的咖哩滲著香香的香料味，而且可以按喜好而叫店家加辣。
當中，我最喜歡咖哩雞。
午飯賣35元，跟大家樂差不多，先是咖哩汁已好食很多，雞肉也夠多，而且不會太"鞋"，雞脾的位置還會吃到滑的感覺，估計雖然是雪雞，但咖哩味滲入雞肉中，也相當入味，其他如咖哩牛肉都值得一試，不過相比下咖哩雞會味美一點。
這兒的午餐，還包一碗湯。
老闆娘說，都是每天一清早就開始煲的足料靚湯，我最喜歡飲這兒的湯，味道尤如阿媽靚湯，完全渴不出味精，而且每碗都有不少湯渣。
因為早成了熟客，有時喝完一碗，店家見還有剩還會問要不要添湯。
我喜歡老區的小店，就是喜歡店的人情味，沒幫襯三年之久，除了老闆，差不多全部店員都記得自己，問我最近工作如何。
當然，像我這種曾經天天幫襯的客人不算多，但老區的小店，實在有份特別的人情味。
曾經天天都逗的貓兒離開了，但每次行過都會想進去吃碟咖哩飯。
we walked around soho looking for some western food, but i guess it's friday night, so it was not surprising that everywhere was full. then we walked passed this one...... an empty looking malaysian curry place.we walked inside and the entire place already looked authentic.when the owner started looking, he sounded authentic as well..... but actually, he said he's indonesian...anyway.everything tasted delicious.we ordered too much and didnt finish.but all dishes were very yummy.and most of all, the price is totally worth its taste.very cheap indeed!!!one down side.the place is very dirty.
