it's very busy in soho tonight for some reasons.my bf and i wandered around to find a nice restaurant.Until we'r too tired to brother anymore,we saw this thai place. we thought that it can't be too bad for thai food. There we went.First, we ordered tempura tiger prawn with sticky rice in garlic chill sauce as a appetizer.For main course, we picked pan friend snapper fillet (wz same kind of sauce) n tiger prawns in curry wz eggplants. They all tasted really really terrible."Tiger Prwans" were some kind of frozen shrimps which are totally tasteless.so,the appetizers came out as some deep fried frozen shrimps in thick breaded paste wz green sticky rice. About the curry,again there'r no tiger prawns but shrimps wz shells (couple of those,some are shellless).For the fish,the quality of the snapper isn't too bad.but the sauce is again not matched tothe description on the menu.the sauce tasted like chinese style black bean sauce but 10 times saltier. Unfortunately,all the food i ordered are really bad,either tasteless or too salty.seriously,i even wonder if the chef has lost the sense of his own tongue

黎到呢間野已經8pm, 裡面一個人都冇, waitress安排左我地坐一個位, 熱到死, 後來發覺佢冷氣都冇開, 大熱天時, 連冷氣都唔開, 唔怪之得一個人都冇啦. 我都唔理得呢度係唔係高級餐廳, 攞住佢個drink list起勢咁put, 但係坐左三四分鐘都唔見佢有動靜, 要叫佢先識開冷氣.我地未叫野食, 佢就有dull蝦片放係枱面, 但係食落, 好淋又唔香. 我地叫左一個木瓜沙律, 一個咖喱羊, 和一個冬陰功, 同一杯ginger ale同一杯ginger beer.木瓜沙律, 得個酸字, 仲係好酸好酸, 黎到好似有陣叔味, 曾經以為係呢碟野, 但不過食落又冇. 但係真係好叔. massaman lamb, 好有羊味, 又夠羶, 但係完全唔淋, 只係個汁好食. 個冬陰公$68得個一碗字, 又係得個酸字, 又冇香味, 仲要冇乜料. ginger ale 得個甜字, 少少姜味都冇, 朋友個ginger beer都仲好少少.D野食真係好難食, 份量又食, 我地邊食邊話難食, 到最後因為太難食, 冇食晒就走, 真係走去食雲吞麵好過. 其實我地食到咁上下既時候, 間餐廳開始多人, 但係發覺全部都係鬼, 我諗真係鬼先會黎食, 因為佢地根本唔知泰國菜係什麼一回事.埋單仲要$450, 把鬼.埋到屋企睇下其他人食評, 發覺有一個好, 但細心睇下先知原來最近一個食評都已經係2006.4.6. 我諗呢段時間都已經冇食家去過lu....
長州行完大運後，打算去soho搵食，原本想去soho spice，點知未開，兜了個圈發現呢度都係食泰菜，決定入去試試。
學baby話齋，呢度D情調唔錯，越夜越多人。
餐前送了一大兜蝦片，加埋D泰式辣椒醬，又脆又野味。
柚子沙律落了好多椰絲，椰子味太重，蓋過了柚子的清香。
冬陰功雜菜湯比一般的冬陰功少了點椰汁味，反而我鐘意。
香炒軟殼蟹這碟價錢有點不值，166蚊得一隻蟹，先將蟹炸過後，再加埋其他配料一起炒，所以軟殼蟹是諗的，原來太諗的軟殼蟹是唔多好食的。
辣椒香草炒飯估唔到這味是最好食的，炒得唔油，又爽身，好香泰式香料味，不過一點都唔辣。
蜜汁炸香蕉配雪榚太甜，不過食落好香香蕉味。
連兩枝SINGHA啤，埋單$566。
20051210食物種類不見得特別，只是一般泰菜的選擇。
環境不錯，坐位比較迫。
星期六無book位，剛好有人走，等了三五分鐘就ok。
軟殼蟹 有點像炸魚 辣牛肉碎沙律 酸酸辣辣，好味 串燒（六串） 豬肉串太肥 泰式炒雜菜（無蕹菜） 普通 泰式金邊粉 不錯 .... （不記得了） wine of the week（紅酒一小瓶）+ 1杯紅酒 2 x 飲品(fruit punch, mango mood)總括來說是不錯，但也不是非常出色。
PS 其他檯一坐下來便有蝦片，但我們的卻沒有，見沒有收費所以也沒有問了。
CHEDI又一間有頗情調的新派泰菜餐\廳. 當晚我跟朋友一共11人已經佔了坐位的1/3, 加埋另外3張46人台, 就霸晒整個餐\廳. 餐\廳盡處有別有天地, 小小後園裝修別緻, 雖然只容得下一張餐\桌, 也算自成一角, 可以邊吃飯邊抬頭看夜空也不錯. 食物方面,柚子沙律的柚子很新鮮, 奄列飯很夠味, 很不錯. 炸蝦餅, 菠羅炒飯, 串燒, 炸魚餅, 軟殼蟹都不算特出, 但ok. 飲品方面則教一般, 朋友點了說菠羅汁是“地滿”貨, 紅莓汁亦只像黑加倫子汁. 店員態度不錯, 有求必應, 亦有笑容. 後來食客漸多, 見她們有點倦, 但望到客人都會笑. 總括來說, 地方好, 食物okay, 招呼好, 都算係咁.
