3course Lunch set on a regular weekday:Salmon and scallop capaccio: As what an appetizer should be like light and refreshing. The sprinkle of fleur de sel gives it a good zing. Rack of lamb with potato and spinach: Lamb cooked in medium, very tender. Nothing out of the ordinary from the veggie and the rest of the dish. Dessert: I can't remember what it exactly was, it was a cake im sure, I only had one bite. it came before the coffee and I was being anal that day and waited until the coffee came and ended up no time to enjoy neither. Service:: (it seems sooo long, cant help it i used to be a server!) was led to the table timely it took me 5 minutes to get someone to take my order the food came in good timing except for the coffee, it came 10 minutes after i ordered it. 15 minutes matter during lunch overheard the hostess complaining about customers chasing her after his order. she talked to herself like, "why complained to me, im not the one who makes the food." but who else are we supposed to talk to? i was eating with a dirty table next to me half the time until after I left. it would have been cleaned up if they just picked one item up each time they passed by.

Set lunch of $198 + 10% consisted of starter (salmon and scallop carpaccio, not much of it but not bad)main (burger, requested medium but came out definitlye more than well done. bun was nicely toasted and buttered. fries were undercooked, old, pale and tepid, like mcdonald's on its worst day)dessert (small coffee/hazelnut cream sponge layers. pretty much maxim's quality,I would pay $8 for it)In short, given the price, am totally unimpressed. No wonder there's always availability. Nice surroundings, but I'd rather have decent food.

頗鬆化,不過唔夠香,或是焗唔夠透,有點咀爵一舊牛油。
幾天前在這兒食午餐, 看到以前的食評,心中也不想來光顧, 但朋友不想去太遠而選了這裡,在置地廣場附近,這個價錢的午餐,我覺得可以接受.食物算是中規中矩(我叫五成熟的牛柳來了八成多, 美中不足), 沒有特別好的介紹,招呼一般.
Had to meet a friend and have a quick lunch. Really didn't book too early but still there are seats available. I ordered pasta with pesto, which isn't bad. Having said that thought, I think it would be really tough to get something simple to be bad. Service is quick and ok. Environment also is not bad. However I think this place is still better as a place for drinks than lunch. In Central a comparable restaurant that has better food (equally or more expensive) is the Mezz at prince building.
