1932011Lunch (http://www.openrice.com/restaurant/commentdetail.htm?commentid=2156419) 唔太滿意, set lunch 又無咖啡飲,「唯有」轉場嚟到呢間服裝店 x 咖啡店飲杯嘢溝溝貨. 如常一人一杯 caffe latte ($36):面頭奶泡賣相厚身但有點鬆散, 飲落亦然, 有點洗潔精 feel 下面的咖啡就熱得燙嘴, 聞落香, 齋飲唔苦, 唔澀, 不過咖啡味比預期淡, 奶味就直程薄, 唔太喜歡.另見呢度有「老佛爺」(http://www.openrice.com/restaurant/commentdetail.htm?commentid=2055958) 的 macarons 及少量蛋糕 / 甜點供應, 不過既然銅鑼灣都開了分店, 你會專程嚟中環食「老佛爺」嗎?咖啡一般, 但環境就幾舒服, 坐吓 hea 吓玩吓 Angry Birds 都無妨的. $36 一杯 regular, 索價同 IFC 嗰間 (http://www.openrice.com/restaurant/commentdetail.htm?commentid=2033426) 差不多, 但質素同人哋差好多條街, 亦不及同類型的尖沙咀「頭文字 I」(http://www.openrice.com/restaurant/commentdetail.htm?commentid=2119338), 應該唔會再來呢間「森林雀仔」了.

this espresso @ Forest Bird SOHO taste too mild, the small glass for espresso is not hot enough (actually in room temperature), it cold down the whole thing... but I have to say that the blend itself is not bad, it could be a better espresso with better treatment, as I can see they have a great machine, according to the menu, their selected Australia blend have Rainforest Alliance Certified, I might give another shot for them next time.anyway, the fresh flower on the table is relaxing

在吃午餐的時候吃過了很不錯的咖啡，心情自然是靚到絕，雖然已經幾飽，但既然人在中環，在此區還有很多咖啡店要試，遂選了目標之中最近的一間，就是三分鐘的腳程，也就來到了，都是多得食友HK Epicurus介紹，才找到上門，店子其實是一所既賣精品、飾物，又賣衣物，另再賣蛋糕甜品及咖啡，看來莫非又一Initial之作？先是被甜品櫃所吸引，原來店家買的甜品全是由Paul Lafeyet買過來的，相信差極有限，還未曾到K11，甚至是法國朝聖之前，就忍不住要試試了，望着那麼多的選擇，但又不能選得多，畢竟兩個人已經是吃過飯了，最後只選了一件Hazelnut Macaron及一件名為Dome的蛋糕，而喝的則點了一杯Double Espresso及一杯Flat White。

先來的是即上的甜品，先介紹Hazelnut Macaron吧，Macaron的外殼及餡料都是灰色的，以杏仁粉與打發的蛋白為主材料烘焙而成外殼，口感既酥且脆，既爽快而又輕柔，口感一流，而餡料滲出一丁點的Hazelnut味，吃起來夠濕潤又香，口感更是綿柔兼備，吃起來是甜而不膩，個人認為比我上回吃JeanPaul Hevin的更棒。

另一件甜點是Dome，外層是批盪得很滑的巧克力醬，面層放了塊Macaron的外殼，內部分成四層，由上半部佔最多的藍莓慕絲，之下是一小層濕潤的海綿蛋糕，之下是一層不太薄的巧克力慕絲，最底的又是一層海綿蛋糕，用刀切下的一剎那，那蛋糕柔順軟腍，已叫人知道這個蛋糕一定不太差。

吃入口又如何，蛋糕外層的巧克力醬味道濃郁，甜度夠而帶不俗的巧克力香，藍莓味的慕絲細滑，雖然藍莓味不太強，但至少就沒有平常最怕的藍莓藥水味，加上內部真的有粒藍莓的果肉碎，入口帶酸而平衡了巧克力的濃甜，加上海綿蛋糕夠鬆軟，那中層的海綿蛋糕明顯的是要比底層的海綿蛋糕濕潤，吃入口整體感覺很夠濕但又不會太水太稀太爛之感，而且無論藍莓味的慕絲及巧克力味的慕絲的黏稠度都適中，實在好吃。

之後就是嘆咖啡的時間，Double Espresso就要快點喝了，Shot Size看來都算正常，用上小玻璃杯盛着的咖啡，摸上手不算太熱，面層的Crema是淺棕色，而且很明顯過薄，又是一杯UnderExtracted的Espresso，萃取不足的咖啡，其內部帶來醇味的脂質根本都未能被乳化，所以咖啡喝起來不挺身順滑，喝入口有點甘但味道不長久，明顯不夠醇厚潤香，但話又說回來，這杯咖啡至少不酸，令人沒有如喝苦茶的感覺。

接下來的一杯是Flat White，女友自從在Coco Espresso喝過後就愛上了，遺憾的是，直到現在，我還未喝過一杯比它更好的Flat White，不過公平一點說，又可能是我在其他Café點的奶系咖啡不是Flat White吧。

也談回是日這杯Flat White，打了個不太美的拉花，但觀其表面真的很平很滑，一粒大泡也沒有，而小泡也只有丁點，然後喝入口，溫度適中，奶層都幾滑又不Frothy，打泡功夫其實不錯，店家用的是十字牌牛奶，喝起來奶香不錯又不會太羶，可是咖啡味明顯不夠，但總體來說至少就喝得人舒服，所以一直也認為，沖煮一杯好的Espresso要比奶系咖啡的更難，皆因沒有了奶的味道來遮羞。

以同類型的咖啡店來比較，此店咖啡的質素是沒有Initial的好，但勝在就用了Paul Lafeyet的甜品，相信愛甜又愛血拼的女女仕，也會來這裡走一趟吧。

這是一間幾合一的店..說是CAFE嗎？又不盡是,說是衣裳屋嗎？又有一些什貨在賣喎. 是外人的生活店子吧...對上一次在日街的店給那一家的外人真的嚇怕了給了杯水唔水啡的espresso給我. 今次有海豚先生指路,衰極有限吧. 要了杯solo ,果味幾重的但不是杰厚的一種.但會比sashay的剛強.如說那杯是啡~我會選這間多一些;但是咖啡會館有開的說話都係落返去飲好咼.

Came past to take a look unfortunately there's no new clothes unless its transparent ones for the Kingand no accessories for guys, its mainly aimed at girls.Nevermind, they still have a LM Italian Coffee Machine, operated by an Italian Barista and a coffee lover!******************CAFFE LATTE The Brand used here is Single Origin Roasters from Sydney, a renowned roaster.Although the name is ambiguous and Single Origin Roasters definitely also roasts single origin coffee beans,here ,multiplebeans are 'Blended' to create a more balanced allround coffee. They can be really great from past experiences, world class award winning stuff, although some of their blends can be blander with milk, as they can be more mellow and suitable for espressos only.For once, did not feel like drinking an espresso this day despite the Barista's insistence always a very good sign as anyone who tried to convince you to skip the milk altogether will inevitably already understand how to extract a good espresso base!Anyway this milk coffee was made using Single Origin Roaster brand'sSeven Blend, one of five preset blends available, whereas they can also cater for other custom blends wholesaled to NSW/Queensland Cafes from my understanding.With slightly too much milk added, it was a bit diluted in taste, okenjoyable in fact it tasted only marginally different than a normal Caffe Latte. Perhaps a Cappucino will fare a little bit better? Perhaps a different Blend might work better, which Forest Bird will run through a few of the blends before deciding on which one to use (the previous one used here was Ooplala blend). Note that true to the Barista's unique Italian heritage and authentic making method, this carried lesser foam than what modernised cafes make, and it can definitely be considered a sin for me to order this in the afternoon, as caffe latte's are a morning drink.So its inevitable that this tasted a little blander and I have no one to blame than myself! (Yet this probably suited my body condition the best this day, as I'm still a bit sickish!) If you like stronger Italian coffee, order an Espresso or a Cappucino instead, or a stronger version which he is very happy to make for you too.
