Went to try Sri Lankan food for the first time. small hidden eatery in sheung wan, I was quite impressed by the food flavorsome with a strong kick. the beef kottu I would describe as a combination of a beef curry poured over fried vegetable & noodles (except it's bread and not noodles!). the fish cutlets are deep fried potato and fish, great to go with a beer! the dessert "wattalapan" was sadly not to my liking it was like a thickened and grainy version of a walnut pudding which was overly sweet. restaurant is definitely worth trying as it's a nice unique taste and experience!

成日想encore呢間斯里蘭卡菜. 唔覺唔覺拖下拖下竟然比我上一次光顧過左一年. 十分萬幸的是小店依舊在同一地點經營. 依然是同一對夫妻檔 同一位廚師同一位侍應. 今次因爲趕時間買了外賣. 炒薄餅+ 牛肉咖喱+ ice tea Lunchset $70 同記憶一樣依然十分有鑊氣 (其實比很多以鑊氣作賣點的大排檔出色) 依然辣得十分過癮香料味道十分豐富 而且食完唔口渴一定冇味精香港小店經營不易. 尤其是中上環地區. 要提醒自己不要抱著僥倖的心態. 要及時支持小店. 多多享受用心制作的食物!

睇緊上環有咩食時發現咗哩間斯里蘭卡菜，由於我地都未試過哩個菜系，於是就走咗入去挑戰吓啦~去到見到個menu一臉茫然，完全唔知邊樣打邊樣，於是我地就搵咗店員(後尾發現係老闆娘)嚟介紹吓啲菜式。
簡單嚟講，佢地有蒸米粉、薄餅、炒薄餅三款主食，再配雞/牛/扁豆/紅菜頭做嘅咖哩。
當然仲有其他小食可以揀。
我地就叫咗以下兩款嚟食。
🐔String Hoppers with Chicken Red Curry 蒸米粉配紅咖哩雞 $80雖然老闆話佢地嘅菜式都稍稍調整過辣度，以符合番港人嘅口味。
不過我地三個本身都唔係好食得辣，都係唔係好頂得順 XD 蒸米粉有四塊，就咁食係真係完全冇味的，配上咖哩汁就即刻惹味番晒。
咖哩雞嘅雞肉唔係走嫩滑路線，不過就唔會話太鞋口，入口又OK的。
🐮Kottu with Beef Curry 炒薄餅配咖哩牛肉 $90我地一致認為咖哩牛肉較咖哩雞好食，一嚟冇咁辣，二嚟佢好似入味啲。
不過啲牛同雞一樣，唔係走嫩滑路線，但都唔會鞋口，入口都OK的。
另外，個炒薄餅配上各樣蔬菜、蛋等配料，食落口感有啲似蛋餅/薄罉，好得意，我地非常推介。
🥛Soursop Juice $30我地當中有人去印尼時飲過哩種飲品，話好味，所以決定都叫杯嚟飲吓 (順手解吓辣)。
後來google咗吓到底哩粒係咩生果，原來佢叫「刺果番荔枝」，又名「紅毛榴槤」(唔關榴槤事)，反正就係熱帶特色水果。
飲落口酸酸甜甜，有少少似乳酪，好解辣，簡直係救咗我地一命 XD總括嚟講，如果我地唔係咁唔食得辣，我地會好鍾意哩間餐廳嘅食物。
食得辣嘅人記得去食吓！
the Kottus and ambiance is great .. the staff is so friendly and does a great job. it's a bit away from the mtr station but the walk is totally worth it .. try the parripu and string hoppers as well.. the menu is basic with a few options but that is a bonus because they make the food fresh for your order.
