於「香港龍舟嘉年華」的活動14輛美食車聚首一堂雖然池記本來是老牌雲吞麵店, 卻於經營的美食車只推出了飯類池記是我們的其中一個選擇, 是為了吃較飽肚的飯！！而且在美食車買的飯, 比起堂食的飯套餐便宜一點啊XD選了蘿蔔豬軟骨飯一奉上就聞到好香的味道！貌似用料及份量不多, 不過還是夠吃的～蘿蔔夠稔, 不會老, 但不夠甜豬軟骨同樣夠稔, 而且好入味！！醬汁的味道恰好, 不會太鹹或太淡惜醬汁少了一點, 不能撈飯吃啊～～食物質素還是略有進步的空間啊～
Pretty good and good price. My wife and I like to go to the central store. We saw Chee Kei food truck when we were walking along the Harbour front. They don't have the full menu but they have some highlight dishes such as red chili wontons.
Went when my family to Disneyland. Saw chee kei outside the park before we entered but we were excited to start our day so didn't try. The food inside Disneyland park is so expensive!!!After fireworks we left the park and each got three rice bowls on our way out (two beef brisket and one pork tendon). Food was hot and delicious and we were hungry. Their water is a third the price of bottled water inside so you get a sense of what I mean.
Chee Kei is famous for their wonton noodles. But their food truck focuses on other Cantonese dishes (rice bowls, Cantonese delicacies such as wontons and fish balls, Chinese herbal tea). I asked the staff why they won't have noodles, and it's because traditional wonton noodles require a large amount of hot water and electricity (過冷河). A different type of noodle would be a different story. Anyway even though they didn't have noodles they had some of the highlights from the stores. Pork tendon/beef brisket rice bowls and wontons. I have the beef brisket bowl and it was on point.
Had the braised pork ribs bowl and they were delicious! Was passing by Disneyland when I saw the food truck from my favorite restaurant so of course I had to stop by. The pork ribs were super tender, and the sauce was just right. Too bad they keep moving around so its hard to catch them
