12th November 2005 12:30pm 2:30pmIt was very kind of my friend to treat me this semibuffet lunch. With coupon bought in advance, we enjoyed lunch at $60 per head. No tips or 10% service charge was required. Original price should be $98 per person. Because my friend booked window seat table beforehand, we enjoyed sea view, mainly onCauseway Bay Yacht Club and North Point waterfront. The sofa was comfy and large. If it's in lighter color, I think it'd be better. The atmosphere for lunch will be totally different. More cheerful. Yet, it's still ok. The semibuffet lunch included buffet for soup, salad, dessert, small sushi and fruits & marshmallow for chocolate fountain.Bread basket and 1 fruit juice of own choicewere served upon arrival. 1 main course was chosen out of 4 options. And then 1 tea/coffee would be served. My friend chose salmon steak with spinach while I opted for linguine with seafood with saffron sauce. Foodwise, I like soup, salad and bread pudding the best. 2 kinds of soup were provided : salmon chowder and pumpkin cream soup. Various kinds of salad were served on salad bar. Grilled eggplant and chicken with red/green bell pepper were in particular fresh and tasty.But my friend found small sushi not fresh enough. It's due to seaweed that wrapped the rice. No big deal cos I had plenty of other food. I skipped that.Both salmon steak and linguine that we ordered for main course were appealing to us. I was so full that I could not finish my linguine. On top of food quality, service of waiters was impressive. They were nice and attentive to customers. I think I will go there again for lunch. I overheard the manager's conversation with customers that price of coupon was increased from $60 to $68. Despite that, it's still value for money. Hope they can keep their service and price.
而家食lunch buffet 只需要$60, 不過要事先買coupon.優惠不適用於星期日.如果星期六下午去食,個景觀同環境已值回票價.服務水準一般,仍有待改善.但係$60就可以食到酒店lunch buffet已經好唔錯了!!!
took lunch buffet there..$15x per personno shrimp, of course no crab.. .even no cheese cat and ice cream...too few choices...i got the window seat tables....only three tables with customers today..maybe due to too high price with too few choices...even fresh oyster and sushi....waitress told us if we want...can place order with her...as they will not put on table....service is very good....but just few choices with window seat...cannot fill the stomach..for such price..i preferred to eat tea buffet in cafe too then...will not go there anymore..one time is enoughbesides, the chocolate fountain...chocolate is no good..not tasty...fruit is not freshwill not change type of food even u finished all....maybe too few customers.....they dun want to add more options...
昨日係我bf生日呀....我選擇左位於銅鑼灣珀麗酒店既Sonata 同佢慶祝..水準真係出乎意料的好...全場大概有7張window seat...由33/F遙望維港景色...實在係頂級享受..柔和既燈光配合寧靜既環境..確實係名副其實既談心勝地..至於食物方面..好味到不得了喇!!!款式..份量唔多..但係就啱啱好囉...
