I’m sure for anyone that has been to Queen Mary Hospital, you will agree that there isn’t a lot of options for lunch. One of the options you can get and often forgotten is the health works! The issue with eating here is you don’t actually have anywhere to eat your food. You will need to take out and bring the food back to your desk to eat which is kinda annoying. Anywho, this option for lunch is still good considering the quality of food they serve. The store smelled absolutely amazing and that’s because the shop sells a lot of things with a variety of herbs.Mushroom chicken udonThe food was cooked in front of us. Meaning they opened a pack of udon and cooked the noodles. I have slight mixed feelings about this given that the udon pack was just laying there. Either way, the shop quickly smelled amazing from the cooking. We brought the take out back to our office, and the mushroom chicken udon simple smelled amazing. The aromatic mushroom quickly filled the room and everyone started asking what we had. The taste was also pretty good too. The mushroom certainly matched the aroma. Only issue was the soup base. I was kinda hoping for a soup base that was drinkable, but the base itself was overly salty. That made eating the udon less enjoyable than expected. For the price of 55HKD I think I would revisit if I’m feeling like I want to eat healthy.
