是日午餐點左咖哩羊, 另加錢叫左杯mango lassi由中東人士打理, 食物賣相都頗正宗中東type既咖哩, 重點在於香料, 此店既咖哩香料味頗夠, 辣度個人可以接受羊肉煮得幾腍, 份量也可以, 而且帶點點羶香飯就比較軟身, 跟我上次係九龍城食既唔一樣, 下次要試下配薄餅mango lassi略嫌稀左D, 不過都算有芒果味眼見佢地既卡巴都好似唔錯, 搵機會試下先~

午飯吃了他們的咖哩羊肉套餐,才$35,但質素意外的好.羊肉很嫩很甜美,炆得也很腍.咖哩汁有很香的黑椒和香料味,而且配料蕃茄和青椒很新鮮,很出色.伴食是Roti煎餠,很香口,但當然熱氣和有點油膩.套餐還有冰凍檸茶一大杯.鄰桌的黃羌飯和Kebaab看來也很吸引.

Came here for lunch, as it's not very often you stumble across cheap places for kebabs in Hong Kong and there were quite a few.Two of us ordered the chicken curry, one with the roti and the other with rice. One ordered the yellow rice with lamb, whilst I ordered the lamb kebab, (spicy) with iced lemon tea, iced milk teas and my lone Turkish Coffee.Can't comment on the other dishes, except they weren't particularly in raptures about the food, but were content, considering the price.When the waiter asked me whether I wanted my kebab to be spicy, I didn't realise just how spicy it was going to be. When I turned around since my order was still being prepared whilst my friends' had dug into their food to see that the cook spooning a lot of spicy sauce into the kebab, I knew I was going to be in trouble.It was so horridly spicy that I couldn't really taste the lamb, I ate about three quarters of the kebab before surrendering, as I was almost in tears from the spiciness. (I love spicy food and can handle it very well...so you can imagine how hot it was!)I had high hopes for the Turkish coffee, for those of you who don't know, it's prepared in a small pot with just water, freshly ground coffee and sugar when it is properly prepared it should have a rich foam on top, almost like an espresso.What arrived was...well coffee with milk and Nestle coffee powder granules on top. NOT a Turkish coffee (a milk coffee costs $12, whereas the Turkish coffee is $6 more). It's not the price difference that mattered, but it's the fact that it misleads the consumer!Unfortunately, my friends were in a rush to get back to work, otherwise I would give these people an earful!

原來開左咁多年, 只是一直沒發現行完書展, 自己到此進膳.又是 chicken kebab, 去到邊都係chicken kebab(1) 可以方便比較(2) 羊肉其實敏感此店的, 有其獨特的香氣, 我也說不清它用的是甚麼香料,但聞下吃下總是香香的蕃茄不少, 且新鮮, 多汁而健康雞肉亦遠比其他店的新鮮多汁, 肉汁豐富, 雞皮小小, 濃汁包圍, 滋味無窮kebab的外皮焗得脆脆的, 亦不錯!$35 有kebab和drinks挺不錯吧! 不用只做Ebeneezer's 的fans

I saw a local Pakistani eating here and enjoyed a very friendly owner explaining to me what the foods were.Since we already paid $15 more each for 2 good but not great Istanbul Express Kebab Rolls, we weren't too keen on getting two.We ordered a $40 lunchtime set with Roti paratha.It took a bit longer than expected but the taste, especially of the roti, was divine.I'm tempted to try the kofta and the milk tea.But I'm definitely getting the roti as it's hand made and just about as good as the ones I got in Singapore, if not better.(and those people sure know how to make rotis!)The bottom line is, even if you prefer Ebeneezers or Istanbul express this place will not break the bank.Also the guy working here is quite nice.The only drawback is that it takes a little bit of time.
