Meeting boyfriend for a quick bite, we decided to head to the food court area of Langham Place. It was there we found a couple of new Korean places. Soul Food Truck shares the same space as Isaac Toast. The menu here serves Korean street food. Things like fried chicken, gimbap.Menu is in English and Chinese. There is no 10% service charge as it's part of the food court.We decided to share a gimbap. The Oppa or cheese, bulgolgi beef and egg ($35 for 7 pieces). It came with a container of sweet mayonnaise. The gimbap wasn't very good. The rice tasted like plastic. There was only a small amount of cheese. The beef wasn't flavored. No wonder they included a sweet mayonnaise to give it much needed flavor. Probably the first time I've had a terrible gimbap. Won't come back to this place.
