It's my second time in my life visiting this small corridor in Tsim Sha Tsui Mansionboth of the times because of Al Maidah!Al Maidah is a convenient choice for South Asian people who needs authentic Halal foods if they are living in nearby hostels, or working here in Tsim Sha Tsui.They have their Halal food service certificate issued by a local Islamic community. Interesting.Although most of the customers are from South East, or tourists from China and other places, occasionally you can see local HongKongers buying kebab wraps for takeaway. Al Maidah is in such a convenient location, so why not?I am particularly in love the the Arabian rice herequite aromatic, amazing with generous amount of carefully and thoroughly diced tomoatocucumber salad, chicken doner and, much to my taste, lightly spicy salad dressing(the one in milky red). All ingredients mixed togetherheaven.They have mint salad dressing too, which the taste is also relatively mild.The restaurant is neat though small, yet it's good for a quick efficient meal or takeaway. No lunch/dinner set. They have noodles, Arabian rice, paratha and Indian biriyani.The owner and the staff here are friendly and patient, so impressive.It's somewhere for people who want to get a taste of the life of the enthic minority expatriates from Arabia/the Middle East/Pakistan and so on.Gonna visit again and bring my friends.
