Came to this restaurant 3 times (1lunch, 2dinner) already in March, food are so nice and service are good. Big Deal indeed!!! Feels so full and satisfied every time. Highly recommended. Waiter is smart enough to understand my poor verbal English.Lunch Soup+Salad+main+dessert $98 to 118 +10% service charge only!!Soup, rich n creamy.Caesar Salad, taste so nice.Main, pasta of the day, taste nice alsoDishes are huge n I’m too full for dessert so just ordered soft drinkDinnerSoup+appetizer+main+dessert $258 + 10% service charge crazy price!!!Very dishes that I ate tastes great n in huge size. Even my boy friend feels very full every time.Just look at the pictures, food are so nice.

突然想食意菜，到赫德道Al Dente.紅酒買一送一，叫了龍蝦&牛扒，medium rare非常到位。

AlDente 招牌意粉真係好Al Dente...無得輸。

前菜的炸mozzarella cheese和mussels好好味。

蕃茄湯友人讚不絕口。

下次必再encore

The staff are very welcoming. Food is up to standard and served in a very generous portion. Visiting on a Saturday with some spare tables but I’d recommend you to book in advance. 4course lunch:1) Soup of the day (mushroom soup)2) Caesar salad/ duck breast salad3) 5 choices of Main: Pasta of the day/ fish fillet/ sirloin steak/ chicken saltimbocca/ seafood paella Sirloin steak ($118)pasta of the day ($98) linguine with chicken cooked with white wine sauce which absolutely ramped up the flavour of the dish. 4) dessert of the day (Banana Caramel Cake)/ drinksDessert of the day is kind of a mix of tiramisu and banana cake. The cake is decent but not the icecream as it’s topped with superficial strawberry (?) sauce. Overall is a nice dessert. Would have chosen the dessert over drinks if I had to choose again. Cost: depending on the main. Sirloin steak is the most expensive choice ($118) (a real deal to me especially it comes with starter and dessert)Very impressive dining experience overall

My nightmare just came today. I have been visiting Al Dente for the last 20 years starting in Central then Wanchai and Prat Ave during last 3 years, at least 45 times every week. I usually come there for lunch (dinner sometimes) mainly for the Spaghetti, and if they do not serve it as pasta of the day, they have been willing to change it for me in the last 20 years.  Today, the staff told me that the chef had refused to have this changed for me any more.  I am not sure what has gone wrong but isn't it true that they should try the best to make customers satisfied and happy? Hope that the chef can change his/her mind and AD can fix this for me!!!

Poor staff & service: asked for Happy Hour drink menu, saying buy 1 get 1 free. Order white wine & Rose, at the end got charged both as buy 1 get 1 free only for same drink. Doesn’t see terms on it nor the staff mentioned. The staff were so cool too food quality much worse than Central / Wanchai Al Dente, v basic food without heart
