Recently in Causeway Bay's Sogo popup area, there is something for sweet potato fans. And that something is Matsuzo Potato. Here for a limited time frame, this shop hails from Japan. And all they produce is sweet potato type cakes that are made entirely of yes ... sweet potato. All the sweet potatoes are from Kagoshima and Miyazaki.Of course, when I told boyfriend, who is a potato fanatic, he moved aside everything to buy EVERYTHING they had to order. Though I don't like potatoes, I could understand. I get that way with cake.They offer four different small cakes. Each are $14 except for the circle one is $18. The large ones on top that look like a sweet potato is $22/100 g.However, if you buy a box set of the three mini ones, it only costs $40. Saving you a bit of money. So that is what boyfriend did. He bought the box set and chose the smallest big sweet potato cake.This is the mini cakes. They were really all made of sweet potato. The round one on the left was actually the best. It was creamy and sweet. It had a hint of vanilla? I don't know.This was the smallest they had of the big sweet potato. It cost $46. It really did look like a sweet potato but it's actually sweet potato, mixed with egg, butter, milk and sugar, refilled back into the sweet potato skin and baked. This was actually the best. It was smooth and creamy. Yet, it still had the same texture and feel of a whole sweet potato.I was impressed. Boyfriend still dreams about it. Really amazing and worth it for any sweet potato fan. But the pop up ends soon ... so it won't last long.

逛崇光超市時，看見這間和菓子店，還要只賣蕃薯和菓子，很有趣，於是貪新鮮就買了兩個來試。
只有三款迷你和菓子和大的蕃薯菓子，我們叫了迷你的試。
叫了迷你蕃薯菓子和蕃薯菓子。
迷你蕃薯菓子加入了rum酒，味道比蕃薯菓子濃，上面的蜜糖帶點清甜。
咬開後都是蕃薯蓉。
樹墩蕃薯菓子用了蕃薯皮做樹墩，上面加了些芝麻，蕃薯味比迷你蕃薯菓子較重。
咬開還是全都蕃薯蓉。
總結，十幾塊就可以買丁和菓子一試，而且不會很甜，蕃薯迷可以一試。
