尋日呢間野係佢最後一日啦，我都去食佢地既下午茶。

可能係禮拜六，就多人小小。

我叫左芝士飛碟配火腿通粉同蜜瓜鮮奶。

芝士飛碟雖然焦左小小，但裡面好多芝士，超好食。

火腿通粉湯底好清，但鹹左小小。

火腿絲就幾多，都算唔錯。

蜜瓜鮮奶好香蜜瓜味，奶味又好夾。

尋日已經係最後一日，老闆話灣仔好難做所以決定唔做落去。

呢度既食都唔錯，最重要既係有種人情味但快餐店好難俾到既。

"What just happened? " A friend seemed to have woke up from what we have known as, "we don't know what we ate and how we ended up eating it" syndrome. The food is THIS forgettable, barely lasted through a trip to the notsoclean bathroom right next to the notsocleaneither open kitchen that doubles as a "seasoning/ takeout" station. With limited space this establishment has maximized available seating, only to realize that what's on the menu can hardly attract the clientele it wants to fill up half of the room. Under the name "The Same Dream" and opened for 6 months when this review is written.I was initially surprised that nobody bothered to add this into the Openrice listing. Upon arrival I entered, sat down on the booth seats while waiting to be served. 10 minutes later a head emerged from the other side of the kitchen to notice me. She handed me the menu right away. No introductions, no hello and welcomes, and when I promptly selected Crepes filled with mangoes at a whopping $30, apparently, they have no "mango pancakes" either, alongside with a list of things the waitstaff pointed to my menu that they don't have. I ordered this Mango dessert with 'pearls' ($25). It in fact is some tapioca pearls in mango puree and chunks of mangoes added. The tapioca has a decided bite to it but doesn't taste like anything I have had before. The mango puree was thick and chilled but didn't taste very much of anything (maybe because it's so chilled). The mango chunks are in a rather inferior quality mango since it's so tart I left it behind. Trying new things have always had its drawbacks. The tapioca pearls are something new but I wouldn't count on the mango. You can almost never find anything original in their menu here, as it is filled with copycats of the so called "new favorites' like osmanthus jellies and Tofucurd with chocolate. We have no luck in the simplicity of Chinese desserts served here either. The Sweet Puree of Cashews are very toasty and thin and reminded me faintly of peanut butter gone rancid. Aside from the sweets this same establishment serves up hot noodle soups in combos...and also lunch deals with sandwiches or rice dishes. It looked like the owner is trying too hard to create an allrounded restaurant that focused on nothing more than common foodstuffs with no distinct strength in the choices they make...in other words, SPECIALTIES. When we left that day I couldn't stop but to ask the owner, "why the name?" I was expecting a story behind it...all I got was:"Oh, somebody named it for me." The owner said dismissively, turning her back on me with our dishes in her hand.It doesn't seem like the owner here has the same dream her clientele is hoping to have under the same roof...I may not know much about her dream about this place, but I wish I could know more about my foodexperience here...the food, as well as the experience was as dreamily unforgettable as ones on any given night.
