在灣仔北附近其實有很多高質素西餐廳. 不過很多時試過一次很久才會再去, 原因都是因為價錢偏貴同及個人喜愛食茶餐廳或粉麵之類的輕食. 今次破格和友人試了這間新開的K Roll. 餐廳食韓式fusion 野, 坐位露天的, 自助形式, 找了個位置坐下便去收銀落單. 餐單有拉面, 沙律, 韓式炸雞, 卷物 供選擇, 和友人點了雞卷, 牛肉壽司, 兩杯凍柚子茶. 韓式牛肉壽司是預先包好的, 紫菜完全不脆, 有別於傳統壽司. 飯偏軟而實, 味道普通. 雞卷由沙律醬, 生菜, 飯, 炸雞, 雞的份量比想像中多. 食落似食Kebeb. 味道OK, 夠飽. 人均消費約$70. 食個卷物加杯飲品$70當然不便宜, 食材又不是特別, 感覺自己在家都可弄到. 幸好都夠飽. 露天茶座, 天氣好時幾舒服. 值得一讚是該店選用紙物料作外賣盒, 夠環保. 總括而言, 可以一試但短期不會再來.
途經這裡剛好見到一直想試的KROLL看到有位便二話不說坐下室外座位只有數把風扇12時多烈日當空實在是熱得很呢! 只點了crab salad kroll ($50)與友人分享, 原來卷物是早已預備好一盒盒的節省了不少等候時間有利上班一族. 一共十件整齊地排列於盒中, 與一般韓式卷物相同, 紫菜都是淋的, 面上加了點麻油增加香氣, 餡料的比例佔飯頗多, 包括牛油果, 蟹肉, 青瓜, 紅黃椒, 生菜, 非常豐富, 入口軟滑, 不過稍嫌沙律醬份量多了一點點. 每人吃了5件也不夠喉呢!
LUNCH 趕頭趕命，在灣仔夠份量又快手乾淨食，就作K ROLL。
上次在上環食過蝦肉，今次食番最傳統的牛肉卷。
長方盒子整齊地放著均等十件，仲有chopstick，tissu。
食用方便又衛生，細心加分。
我估巻巻預定一啖一個，食到一半就巳飽飽地。
當然男仔可能要食兩條啦。
飯少牛肉多，牛肉有韓燒的香燒甜味又唔會乾，好味。
仲有卷著紅蘿蔔絲，青瓜絲、蛋皮和蟹柳。
食材新鮮豐富。
而且卷得很結實，麻油味很香，最重要係有咬勁我中意~~
The place was so far away from anywhere. It took me ages to walk over from the mtr. After I have finally arrived, I saw 2 people sitting at the table. However, there was no one at the counter and the counter top was lifted up. So I thought the staff might of went to the washroom or something.So I stood there and looked at the menu while I was waiting. After a 5 min wait, there was still no sign of anyone returning so I looked at the 2 people sitting at the table (thinking maybe I should ask if they know if it is closed). Then after a few glance, I realized that they are both staffs!!! From the moment I stepped in, I am pretty sure at least one of them saw me but she didn't greet or even ask what I want to order.Then I walked over and asked if it is their lunch hour. One of the staffs stood up and walked over to the counter (still without any greeting). When we were both at the counter, I placed my order and she packed it for me right away (which was a surprise for me because I didn't realize they are all premade). In my heart I was thinking, "Fine, as long as the food is good then the service doesn't really matter because I can do takeaways."However, the roll was SUCH A DISAPPOINTMENT!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! I had the "Crab Salad Kroll". The roll was a little OVER room temperature. It was hard to seperate one piece from another. Although the vegetables inside were crunchy, the bell pepper flavor covered both the avocado and the crab meat. Not to mention about the salad dressing, it was a bit too runny to a point that I was so scared that it would drip. $50 dollars for such a roll is super over priced! I would rather have the one from Hungry Korean in which their location is way more convient. PS. One thing about the environment, somehow there is such a strong smell of pets inside the store (although i didn't see any outside the counter). Personally I am ok with pets, but the scent was so bad that it seems like whatever pets they have inside, haven't been bathing for at least a month.
