Thai Kau Thai Restaurant is not just any Thai restaurant. This one is run by two members of Hong Kong's most popular boyband, Mirror, and a member of their alter counterpart, Error. Located in Mong Kok, their aim is to provide inexpensive value for money Thai. We decided to try it out for lunch. It also appeared a lot of their fans were also there.The restaurant isn't very big and there is also outdoor seating. The color scheme is blue and yellow.During lunch time, they offer a lunch set menu. Menu is in English and Chinese. Sets include a variety of set drinks with possible upgrades. They also have snack add ons. There is no 10% service charge and you pay on your way out. Lunch set prices are all under $100. Ordering is done by scanning a QR code which is only in Chinese.They had a varied selection of set drinks that were different than the usua. The drinks we chose was Passion Fruit Tea (on the left) and latte (on the right). They were not too sweet. The latte didn't have much coffee.Boyfriend ordered the Minced Fried Noodles with Shrimp Paste ($62). It tasted better than it looked. Not too spicy but it was there in a subtle way. Though one part was super salty. Most likely not mixed well.I had the Hainan Chicken with Chicken Oil Rice ($62). It didn't come with soup.The chicken tasted better than it looked. Not very seasoned but at least not bland. The meat was tender enough. It came with a  piece of bok choy instead of the usual cucumbers. Portion wasn't too big as well. I would consider it small compared to other restaurants. The rice had a slight chicken oil taste. It wasn't oily at all and it appeared they used mix grain rice instead of just white rice. Portion wasn't very big as well.Food tasted better than it looked. Portions aren't too big. The only thing is service needs a lot of work. When we arrived, we were the only people there. The host said wait here as they will be clearing up a table. Then someone came and was given a table as she had a ticket. We said what about us and the same host told us did we get a ticket? We e pointed out that we weren't informed of this and was only told to wait, causing us to think we were next. No apologies were provided. Food didn't come out fast and it seemed the same orders came out at the same time. Wait staff also spent a lot of time wandering around with orders of food, wondering where it went.  Service obviously needs a lot of work. 

餐廳由Mirror及Error成員一起合資開設的，鏡粉和錯粉豈能錯過呢！餐廳裝潢簡約，顏色對比強烈，帶點東南亞風情看起來較親民，而且食物價錢亦走平民路線另設有戶外座位，感覺開揚舒服。

青咖哩雞青咖哩充滿椰香味，有薯仔、蘿蔔、青瓜；蕃茄伴碟。

雞脾肉表皮經烤過更加香，肉質嫩滑，蘸上甜而帶微辣的咖哩醬汁，香濃惹味，如果再配上薄餅或蒜蓉包會更加一流。

馬拉盞通菜通菜份量好多，炒得爽口仍然保持鮮嫩翠綠，微辣咸香惹味。

今日肥妹仔同男朋友去咗位於旺角譽發廣場嘅一間泰國菜食，一上到門口已經見到好多妹豬坐咗喺入邊打卡食飯，非常之熱鬧。

馬拉盞芥蘭 $68馬拉盞好香，芥蘭係嫩，好幼嘅，一啲都冇苦澀味，好好食。

泰式蝦炒金邊粉 $88味道不錯，蝦都幾大隻，有豆乾同埋雞肉，金邊粉炒的好朝身。

香香茅脆辣雞中翼 $68呢個雞翼超好食，好香香茅味，而且佢冇沾粉去炸，係生炸的。

皮脆肉嫩，唔會太鹹。

薄餅 $38薄餅係唔似平時我哋喺泰式餐廳食到嗰隻，係好酥脆有少少似牛角包。

紅咖喱豬肋骨 $168豬肋骨烤超香，肥妹仔好欣賞佢個味，有好適中嘅香料味，而且啲豬肋骨肉質好嫩滑，紅咖喱就偏辣嘅鍾意，食重口味嘅人士一定要叫。

芒芒雪冰，青檸梳打 $38

平日晚市第一次黎食泰菜，餐廳鄰近油麻地站A2出口，直行12分鐘就到。

兩人共嗌咗三款菜式同兩杯飲品：1. 泰式涼拌火辣魚皮 ($78) 平時涼拌魚皮係舊式粥檔食得多，又未試過係泰國餐廳食過。

爽彈嘅魚皮加上泰式沙律，啱晒而家夏天食！唔食得辣嘅朋友要注意因為都幾辣下🙈2. 生菜9包 ($88) 豬肉碎上面加咗秋葵乾，撈埋肉碎嘅口感特別得黎又惹味，係出面餐廳未試過嘅味道，估唔到秋葵同泰式肉碎咁夾，推介大家黎試！大推！3. 蟹肉炒飯 ($108) 炒飯有炸蟹鉗、蟹肉同蟹籽4. 芒芒雪沙 ($48) 落單時有得選擇甜度5. 椰青 ($48)食飯時出現咗小插曲，飲品有漏單嘅情況，同侍應講爭杯芒果冰沙，然後侍應話我地無落到單，我哋double check有落到單同show俾侍應睇，最後侍應話聽到我講芒果糯米飯然後就走開咗，當刻感到有d莫名其妙同有怪責嘅意味，如果加返句「唔好意思」，語氣客氣點客人會感到舒服啲，畢竟漏單不是我們的錯和提點餐廳不是我們的責任，因此服務方面有待改善。

除咗依點之外，餐廳其他方面都好好，菜式美味同有創意，餐廳環境都好光鮮同整潔，價錢同出面泰式餐廳差唔多唔會特別貴，將來有機會會再來光顧

約朋友在旺角吃午餐，今次試試這間由Mirror成員Lokman 開的泰國餐廳。

餐廳名字已經夠玩野夠抵死😂海南雞飯去骨海南雞份量驚喜地多，大大隻雞髀雞肉十亦嫩滑，以這個價錢真的非常抵食，茶餐廳價錢，質素不錯冬蔭公海軍湯粉湯粉可以選河粉/金邊粉/油麵。

配料有青口、魷魚和蝦，蝦頗大隻，爽口彈牙，冬蔭公湯調味恰到好處，酸味辣味和鹹味都平衝得很好，KO 一整碗金邊粉絕對沒難度😁午餐可以追加春卷、鳳爪沙律或雞翼等小食。

春卷炸得香脆可口，餡料惹味爺不會油淋淋。

鳳爪沙律清新醒胃，再喝杯冰涼的梳打，爽👍🏼
