I passed by this bakery a few days ago. The shop interior had an oldfashioned HK style feel. I did not expect much, but after seeing the good deal ($10 for three buns), I decided to give it a try.I bought a Mexican Bun, Red Bean Bun, and "Chicken tail" bun (for foreigners, don't panick, it's just a bun filled with grated coconut). After I got home I reheated the buns using an oven. To me the most important thing in a chicken tail bun is its filling. This one was quite large and had a lot but not too much of filling. The porportion is just right and the taste of the filling is quite genuine. Good!The best is the Mexican Bun (MB), the top is a bit crunchy (it is hard to find MB with a crunchy top). I am usually not a big friend of MB, but although this one doesn't have any filling, the bun itself had plenty of buttery scent. Very true to the classic traditional HKstyle bakery. I would say it is the best MB that I've eaten.Will definitely try other buns/breads next time.There is another bakery on the same street with a more modern and western look. Also tried a few selections from there, including their Mexican Bun. All the items that I bought were soso, except their MB, which is filled with an artificial lemon custard!! And the bun itself had no buttery taste. That's probaly the worst MB I've ever had.

第一次入這店,在昏暗的燈光下,被黑芝麻糯米糍吸引。
10元有3粒。
皮是軟綿綿的,對餡也充滿着期望。
怎料一咬之下,竟然也是皮,再咬幾口才見黑色的餡!餡實在少得可憐還以為是黑麻蓉,竟然是黑芝麻粒 令人失望⋯⋯
妹妹生日,因為媽媽話想買細少少既蛋糕所以沒有買美心既CAKE不過就買咗呢間既黑森林,第一次食喳, 賣相都OK , 味道也不差喎, 外面有朱古力碎, 內朱古力蛋糕, CREAM之間有啫喱既物體, 好得意, 好有口感朱古力味亦不輕, 好好味, 士多啤梨亦甜, 好新鮮既蛋糕,好好味 真係又平又抵食, 買蛋糕的另一類選擇呀
墨西哥的外層有牛油味,香脆可口像波羅包一樣,甜鹹參半的味道~起初覺得只是一般,可是多吃會吃上癮~小小個,一個$1.5~不夠的可以買多幾個~服務態度良好,有些店員也會認得熟客,跟他們攀談~如果有機會,你們可以嘗嘗!
