A girlfriend and I were wandering around TST, looking for a place for wine and nice dinner.We were standing outside H8 and felt like having steak so Stone it was.The restaurant was located on the 18th floor and being a Weds, it was virtually empty.We were led to a booth seat by the window.It was super comfy although the view was very disappointing. We saw the house white special at HK$280 per bottle and asked for one.The maitre d' had us have a taste and it wasn't what we were looking for. The maitre d' offered us another bottle and at HK$480 (an Italian Pinot grigo) it was much nicer.We ordered a seafood platter for 2 and a foie gras creme brulee as appetizers.At HK$480, I definitely thought the platter was overpriced.Oysters were good and our server gave us instructions as to the order of enjoying them. the socalled pink prawns were sweet and succulent.But at this price, we expected them to throw in at least a few mussels.The foie gras creme brulee, on the other hand, was a nice surprise. The caramelized sugar on top of the brulee was perfect for the foie gras and we thought it was an ingeneous way to enjoy this normally heavy item. We ordered a Canadian ribeye and a carbonara to share. My friend likes her steak fairly well done and I like mine rare. We asked them to split the steak in half and they actually servied the steak as 2 different entrees, which was nice. The steak was very nice but the side dish of frites and mayo was even better. Rather than frites, they were more like deep fried new pototo wedges.They were piping hot when served and were perfect with the mayo!Service is impeccable but considered there were only 3 tables of guests, it should be.Staff shows knowledge of the food item which is always a plus.But the steak alone, I think, is worth going back for.

Heard of this place from my friends therefore decided to give it a try. Requested the restaurant to send me the menu when I did my reservation which arrived via email in less than 30 mins. It is now known as Stone French Dining as we were told they do not their guest to be confused with the idea it's a Steak House which is indeed true as they are rightfully French restaurant with good french cuisine.Went for dinner and it was not what I expected, the place was dimly lit, great ambience and totally unexpected It's actually a French Restaurant more than A Steak House. they has Ala carte menu, Set menu for 2 person @ $680 and Degustation menu @ $1080 ( which need prior booking and deposit). I will not divulge further to what I had but I enjoyed every single minute I was here We had the Onion Sp, Foie Gras Creme Brulee as starter........ and it goes on.

因為有COUPON 關係, 所以到H8 新食場的Stone Steak House 食晚飯 這裡環境很不俗, 很有情調第一次食法式火鍋Fondue, 其實與瑞士芝士火鍋有點類似. 自選湯底 ( 法國植物油、龍蝦湯、牛尾湯) 選咗龍蝦湯底, 但味道唔太香濃美國牛柳粒及法國雞胸肉 肉味唔錯挪威三文魚及虎蝦 很新鮮、彈牙大磨菇、馬鈴薯、鵪鶉旦 可以寬條麵 份量比較少, 但加上龍蝦湯, 味道不俗.香草汁 很香今次因為有Coupon , 所以十分抵食, 下次可以試吓佢地的石燒. 環境、食物及服務都很好 !

我們到達H8時已經是下午的2:45左右很多餐廳都冷冷地說, 我們last order 3:00, 3:30 就close 了/ 不, 我們已經不供應午餐了但SSH 的侍應哥哥confrim 左依然有lunch 供應後更很親切地對憂心忡忡的我說, 不要緊, 可以坐到你們想走的時候, ok啦!在繁忙的準備Christmas Eve Dinner 的重要時間可以得到如此貼心的服務, 老實說我是很受寵若驚!更驚喜的是當我看手上的lunch menu時, 發現, 好便宜!價格$6x10x +10% 的樣子而且每個SET只要加$25, 就可以任意挑選MENU上的任何一款甜品!!* * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * *soup of the day 是tomato soup, salad 就是parma ham salad~我們都挑了tomamto soup~微酸的蕃茄加上少許質感幼緻的白色的泡沫及少量麵包粒口感豐富之餘非常的開胃~麵包感覺上是自家製的, 暖暖的很不錯~主菜方面我吃的是salmon pasta超大份!! 而且有很多salmon...~~pasta的口感也好好~但如果說Salmon pasta 是 Great,另一份"Jambonette of Poultry Stuffed with Mushroom, Pilaf Rice" (好長的名字, 焗雞腿釀蘑菇配香飯) 就是awesome了~!雖然我不是道那綠色的sause 是甚麼名字, 卻有很香的herb味配起那塊滑溜的雞肉一起吃, 減少了肥膩的感覺~再加上我最愛的蘑菇~非常讚!!餐飲我挑了咖啡小小杯的, 卻很香濃~ * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * *最尾我依然沒有辦法抗拒甜品的誘惑雖然很想試試甚麼是士多啤梨湯但在侍應哥哥的提議下我們選了French Toast 和 很safe的心太軟賣相非常美麗!! 而且雪糕是movenpick的French Toast 果然是一個好好的介紹~厚厚的麵包()質感其實近乎是蛋糕, 是偏向較實的一款toast 面撒了粗糖粒然後燒過, 脆脆的, 帶有微澀的焦糖味, 和雲尼拿雪糕一起入口,那種滋味真的無法忘懷!!! >w<心太軟也不錯啦~不過, 真想來多一次French Toast!!!是一次好好的用餐經驗~=D

一個下午...走進厚福街,已有不少宣傳單張在H8樓下其實也拿不定主意,剛巧又遇上一位落力的阿姨,仲話可帶埋我上樓、好...就反正一試先上沙律...是煙三文加菜,菜真是失真,不夠繽紛色彩的西生菜,视覺上已扣下分數味道、我只比上合格跟手是Carbonara,呢個味道就唔錯,條條麵都掛到汁,知不過...煙肉出手認真少,'睇相'轉完360'度才揾到最最最多的部份嚟,要送上一個...至於尾聲即磨咖啡,都算收貨咖啡豆來货唔錯,就算不加入糖,咖啡味亦很香濃、亦冇苦濃嘅感覺環境須小,但坐得算是舒服的希望日後在細緻上多加留言,能留多一名晏就客就好連加一埋單$72.
