友人終於回港, 來到Zentro bar 聚舊. 平日也有八成滿, 果然是熱點. 分室外和室內區, 由於室內播著house music, 要chit chat 的還是室外好. 九時前仍有happy hour 折扣, 點選了hoegaarden (half pint), 友人則點選了San Pellegrino. 筆者的hoegaarden夠冰凍, 味道清新怡人, 帶點花的芳香, 不經不覺已喝半瓶, 可以的. 朋友的sparkling water, 另上一隻載有一片檸檬的吉瓶, 感覺頗細心, 不錯.另要一讚侍應們, 筆者要求坐室外位置, 他們也會牢記並盡力安排, 令人滿意.

位於 IFC 的「Zentro」，可說是一眾中環人仕放工後的樂土，來 happy hour 非常方便，全室內是連下雨沒帶雨傘也不用怕！這裡紅白酒正價＄65 起一杯， happy hour 則 special price ＄45 起，是屬合理的價錢範圍。

「Chardonnay / Cabernet Sauvignon」 另點了兩串「串燒蝦」 （＄18／串，兩串起），燒得太乾了吧，味道是不太合格。

本想再點「串燒牛舌」及「串燒雞翼」，還是打消念頭，吃回我的花生吧！

I went on a day out with my gf to Peng Chau. After we returned to Central we decided to grab a bite, and lo and behold we saw this little place in IFC, this place is easily overlooked as it's situated behind a corner.We sat down, at first I wanted to sit near the entrance (coz the view looks outside of the IFC and you can see the pedestrians walking by), but the manager took us to another seat instead. I am fine with the arrangement as it was a window seat also (though looking INTO IFC rather than out). However my gf was a little bit unhappy at being refused in such a blunt way, maybe next time a bit more smile would please the ladies more. I am cool about it, I mean, it's a bar I don't come here to be treated like royalty lol...Down to business. They have Boddington's on draft which I like. It's better than coming out of a can for sure. My gf ordered a Bailey's. They have a tapas menu so we tried their potato skins with chorizo. It was delicious. They used small potatoes, there were chopped onions and (possibly yellow bell peppers??). On the menu it did mention diced olives but I didn't see any olives inside. There were loads of melted cheddar cheese on top which is great as I love cheese. The couple at the next table was eating nachos, I don't know how it tastes like but the portion was big and they seemed to be enjoying it so I guess it was pretty good?Next time we would like to try other items as well, they have some funny ones like deep fried fishball, tapas with a local twist huh.

first time to leave commentsthe beef of the burger is overdone, completely disastrous. i ordered the beef as medium done, but it turned out to be overdone.i feel so bad ...you don't deserve to be a place in ifc!

I tried the first lychee martini in my life few months ago at Zentro. I immediately fell in love with it. Since then, I would order lychee martini when I went to other bars but I found that they have the best lychee martini at Zentro. The mixture of lychee flavour, sweetness and alcohol are well balanced. The alcohol is strong enough while it is not too sweet and the temperature is excellent. There is also a lychee in the glass. Some bars do not offer that.After I tried at other bars, I thought maybe I would not like lychee martini if I had never tried this one at Zentro before.
