After exploring some Lunar New Year markets nearby, we decided to have a quick early dinner before heading home. Looking about we decided on a very old looking cha chan teng.Menu is in Chinese only. There is no 10% service charge. I noticed they had Hainan chicken rice ($60) and they claimed it was their speciality so I decided to give it a try.It came with a soup of either the daily Chinese soup or borscht. I decided on the Chinese soup. It was didn't have any flavor at all.The chicken rice was similar as well. The chicken was not boneless and very tough. It also had no flavor but was just super oily. The rice also had no flavor and was just plain oily. The oil wasn't chicken oil as well. It just tasted like oil. The vegetables were just lettuce placed on the side and also drenched in oil. Probably one of the worst Hainan chicken rice I've had in Hong Kong.Boyfriend played it safe an ordered from the afternoon tea set menu. He chose a spaghetti bolognese ($50). This was a bit better. There was a lot of mince meat and the amount of tomato sauce was plenty. The spaghetti was not over cooked.I wasn't too thrilled with what I ordered. However, boyfriend felt his was ok but he also agreed he wouldn't be back.

今日睇完戲,就同朋友去附近搵食朋友忽然話好耐無食過茶記，而且係想食傳統果d，無乜裝修果d於是就黎左呢度一入去，估唔到咁多人得番角落頭有張卡位無人睇左陣menu,叫左個西蘭花炒牛肉再加多個呑拿魚蝦球焗飯等既時候見都幾多人叫焗飯,我都幾期待先黎兩碗餐湯,一紅一白然後再黎西蘭花炒牛肉,都幾大碟,心諗今次未必食得哂. 西蘭花一般,炒牛肉幾林. 因為太肚餓既關係所以都清哂然後再黎個焗飯份量真係算幾大,本身已經七成飽,唯有硬住頭皮食哂佢,因為個白汁幾正,d蝦幾大隻,呑拿魚份量都幾多
半年一次既一田大減價又黎啦，商場人頭湧湧，由下晏行到夜晚都未行哂，所以搵間唔駛等位既茶記黎個速食算數。
聚樂居環境有d昏暗，裝修比較舊，不過為求快，咩都冇所謂la，所以入去之前都冇抱咩寄望。
入到去叫咗個焗飯同意粉，加多個什扒。
個焗豬扒飯同焗雞扒意粉不提也罷，個汁唔好味，兩塊扒都亦完全冇味。
但係反而個什扒above average（相對焗飯）。
鐵板做到最基本既夠熱，淋汁落去炸炸聲，有feel。
薯條同雞翼炸得好香脆，最令我驚奇既係鐵板既雞扒同豬扒比焗飯既雞同豬整到好味好多。
所以如果大家真係揀呢到解決晚餐，建議揀什扒
見哩間餐廳有海南雞飯食，梗係又要試一試佢，點知完全中晒伏，從來未遇過咁難食，首先海南雞有骨架咩?其次係d肉鞋口，叫咩白切海南雞，直情係白切雞飯算啦，價錢又唔係平。
喺荃灣廣場對開嘅大壩街有好多食肆, 有啲開咗超過廿年嘅茶餐廳, 有啲新派西餐廳, 百貨賣百客, 各式其適.今日落開去荃灣廣場, 就去咗聚樂居食咗個平價下午茶,32蚊嘅牛仔柳飯, 牛仔柳嘅 中規中矩, 但係熱辣辣嘅溫度, 絕對有加分位, 溫度改變味道.就算係午餐, 都只係40蚊到, 大街經過不妨一試, 支持小店
