Ahh The Canny Man. The Wan Chai Oasis. Been coming here on and off for many a year now. Decor has gotten a wee bit old over the years but the place has still kept its overall charm. Settled in for a bit of scran while watching the rugby. Steak n Ale pie never goes a miss and wasnt dissapointed. Wife went for the spicy pizza which she couldnt finish so I did the honours Staff are always jovial and happy to have a chat. Good to see the old Wan Chai haunts still going strong. Keep it up Canny Man!!

It’s nice to come to when you don’t want a loud vibe. Great staff that are happy to engage and take requests.
I came here for the 98 dollar 3 course set lunch and had roast of the day (beef). I arrived early (around 12:30) so didn't have a problem with getting a table. The staff were speedy and efficient and food tasted good. Maybe could of had more than one ice cream selection (only had vanilla) but overall a nice lunch.
Visited this restaurant last night with some friends for some dinner after I stumbled across for an advertisement for the special 'Beer and Burger' deal for only 98 dollars! We decided to try it out and was extremely satisfied with the delicious food and great service. Highly recommend!
Came here with my wife for some British / Scottish fare and was pleasantly suprised. Very hospitable and friendly staff and ambience was just right for our early evening dinner. I opted for the traditional Haggis, Neeps & Tatties which tasted yummy and does the restaurants Scottish theme proud. My wife went for the other British classic of bangers and mash which was also excellent. A great place for a drink and a bite to eat
