I work around the area and decided to try out this place for the first time. There wasn't a lot of options to choose from (chicken breast, fish, lean ground beef and tofu) but their idea seemed pretty interesting (lean protein, organic carbs and veggies, the perfect lunch box for fitness/health conscious peeps)So I got there around 1:15 and saw a few people waiting. There were two people working in this small little space. I looked at their food station and saw no protein (they were still cooking it). I then went ahead and ordered the signature chicken breast, and the cashier told me it'll be around a 3 minute wait. I waited while the line gets longer and longer. 15 minutes later at 1:30pm, they pulled out 3 pieces of chicken breast (mind you, most of the people in line were waiting for the chicken breast) and some fish. Some people have been waiting since 1pm and have spent half their lunch break waiting for their food. At this point I was getting irritated and couldn't wait any longer so I switched to fish, took my lunch quickly and left.The food quality is probably worse than their service. The fish was cold and tasteless; the mash sweet potato contains chunks that are not completely cooked; and the broccoli had zero seasoning, cold, and didn't taste fresh at all. I didn't want to finish my food, and I WAS STARVING . For $68 I could get so much better food from healthy chicken which is just next door.Overall, I was very disappointed with the experience I had with Gymbox. I'd give them a benefit of the doubt that it's because they just reopened. Clearly they still need some time to reorganize and have better time management to get use to the lunch time traffic in an officedense area. I don't think I'll revisit anytime soon.
