I haven't had a chance to eat in this part of Hong Kong for a while but luckily tonight afforded me the possibility. I've been craving pasta for a while and I thought it would be he perfect chance to try out the spaghetti bolognaise at Sooo Veggie. In the past when I've eaten here I have been put off by the appearance of this dish. The paleness of the pasta could possible be a sign of blandness but I am very happy that I gave it a go, it's super tasty!The pasta is not particularly special but I can't complain about it, not too soft, not too hard, (if I was cooking myself I would choose wholewheat for more flavour but perhaps white sells better). The tomato and mince sauce is where the real taste is though. When the plate arrived in front of me there was a deceptively meaty smell, the soya mince had just the right texture for me, chewy and interesting in my mouth (although I have to admit I am a very longterm vegetarian so I don't know if meateaters would feel the same). The tomato component of the sauce was rich, sharp and sweet with some nice herbs in there too. Really the only thing this is missing is some strong grated cheddar cheese melting on top, (perhaps I will bring my own next time).Thanks Sooo Veggie for providing the only veggiemince spag bol in Hong Kong, (at least I haven't found anywhere else).

好食架嘢，貴係唔緊要！今日試咗個素咸魚炒雜菜飯。
買得外賣凍冰冰都預咗。
成個外賣椰菜少、甘荀絲得幾條，菜份量好似人哋食餘下的，現在蔬菜價格可能真係好貴。
幾條菜又唔係收得平，最得人驚係素咸魚找完全盒得嗰一粒仔，難聽講句，粒鼻屎仲大粒個佢，無味道都唔緊要。
個飯又實又無飯香。
個南瓜湯係最最最差，落咗百里香香料、湯又浠，試咗一匙味道好似飲緊中藥感冒茶咁。
最終全餐無食，去咗買第二間外賣。
真係醒咗，呢間嘢真係無下次，仲要有兩間店，食水真係深。
Found out from the other branch of Soo Vegi that there were new dishes at this joint so went here.It was packed with people as usual.Here was what I had:★☆★☆★☆★☆★☆★☆★☆★☆Lemonade:This was basically lemon squash which was refreshing and not too sweet.★☆★☆★☆★☆★☆★☆★☆★☆Mushroom soup:Started off with a mushroom soup which was hearty and earthy with a dash of cream.★☆★☆★☆★☆★☆★☆★☆★☆ Chilled Shredded Veg. Chicken with Bean Pasta in Sesame paste $30Veg. Curry Puff $30:I ordered this and it was nice on a hot day.Cool sheets of bean pasta in this savoury sesame paste that was not too sweet complemented by fresh cucumber.★☆★☆★☆★☆★☆★☆★☆★☆Veg. Ham, mushrooms, preserved Veg with bean Sprout and Rice $40:This was a nice dish because beanshoots have a high water content hence it was light and thirst quenching!★☆★☆★☆★☆★☆★☆★☆★☆ Braised eggplant with Preserved Vegetables and Rice $40:This was a creative dish because they used preserved vegetables instead of salted fish which also makes it tasty.I would have liked the aubergines to be cut into smaller chunks so that the aubergines would be tastier.★☆★☆★☆★☆★☆★☆★☆★☆
今日午市係素食主意外買左個飯+湯以為健康 點知不但吾係健康 仲覺得自己好似食緊鹽咁 平時吾係特別差既餐廳都吾會比負評今次係第一次差到係openrice寫負評 一尾得個咸字 已經叫佢少鹽少油但都仲係好咸好油 份量又少 外買真係吾抵！$42一個飯+$8湯$50蚊食啲咁既野確實接受吾到可能堂食會好少少
之前看了別人介紹，滿懷期望的來到。
可惜餐後感覺一般。
意式蕃茄雜菜意粉：蔬菜的份量和種類都很少，味道也很普通福建燴飯： 外面福建炒飯的走肉版，不過不失唯一驚喜的是羅漢果茶，少甜好飲
