尋日第一次食菲律賓菜，主打係菲律賓街頭小食，呢間係菲律賓人開，佢地識少少中文，見我地第一次食，都好細心講解啲菜式，服務態度好好。間舖一啲都唔起眼，但真係好好味，2個人食，每人都係60蚊有找，所以連續食左2日。個人覺得甜豬肉煎蛋蒜蓉飯，蒜蓉飯炒得好香，豬肉有啲似搽左蜜糖嘅叉燒，同菲律賓街頭串燒都值得推介。

So, I ate at the La Cusinita at around 4ish on a hot Saturday afternoon. I was welcomed by the warmest smiles of the staff at La Cusinita upon entering. The environment of the place is great, it's clean and most importantly airconditioned throughout... I couldn't ask for more as the weather was just getting ridiculous in HK.Anyway, I thought I haven't tried filipino classic dishes in a while so I thought, why not try the new place. I ordered Bopis w/ rice, Philippines famous street food fishballs and iced milk tea. The Bopis was full of flavor and it wasn't soggy like I've tried in other filipino restaurants in HK. Bopis is an extremely complicated filipino dish to make, and I know a good Bopis because it is my favorite dish of all, and La Cusinita's Chef nailed it (Kudos, Chef!). Iced milk tea was, without a doubt, awesome Can't imagine anyone not liking such a refreshing drink, well, I do know one person... Waiting time about 56 minutes. The portion was just about right and food was served on a cute banana leafinspired plate.Later that evening, I had dinner with a group of friends in TST and then we wanted some dessert afterwards, but all the dessert places in TST are packed so I thought, why not bring them to La Cusinita we were the last customers too and the staff were kind enough to stay open just a little bit longer after midnight. We ordered just about every dessert La Cusinita could offer Maja Blanca, Biko, Mais Con Yelo (omg, this is to die for!) and of course, who can resist everyone's favorite HaloHalo!The overall experience at La Cusinita was 10/10 and I am definitely coming back for more. Oh! and one more thing, the fishballs I ate were not local HK fishballs the fishballs are delivered directly from The Philippines. La Cusinita is the first Filipino Restaurant in Hong Kong to offer Philippines famous street food. How cool is that?! Next visit, I will be getting myself some Kikiam!
