There are a lot of cha chan tengs that have a retro decor but most of them are only recreated. But hidden away in a side street near Man Mo Temple is a true cha chan teng from the blast. 華樂冰室 has been here forever. The tiles look like they have been here since the 60s.The menu is in English and Chinese. There is no 10% service charge and you pay on your way out. During lunch the y offer sets that all include a drink. We both decided to get set b which includes a meat item, pasta, bread with egg and a drink for $49.The egg was a fried egg with a nice runny yolk on top of a slice of buttered bread.I had the fried spaghetti with tomato sauce. I was a bit taken aback when it arrived as I was expecting the sauce to be combined well with the pasta. Instead it was served on the side so I had to mix it up myself. It appeared the spaghetti was stir fried with soy sauce. The sauce seemed to be tomato mixed with worcestershire sauce.Boyfriend chose that black pepper sauce. It was also placed on the side. It was very peppery.For my meat, I chose a deep fried pork chop. It was big! And oh wow ... so juicy! The coating was crisp. A really good pork chop!Boyfriend ordered the pan seared steak with black pepper sauce. The steak was very soft and tender. Not much meat tenderizer was detected.The portions were big and the food was really quite good. Food was a bit different than the typical cha chan teng as well so definitely an experience.

華樂冰室,上環☕️初二朝早去完#文武廟 諗住去食個早餐但發覺好多餐廳今日都唔開，好多都要去到初四初五之後先啟市。
行行吓見到呢一間茶餐廳，諗都唔諗就入咗去試吓。
晨早流流就俾人開咗個早年。
原因係我落單嗌「午餐肉同太陽蛋」而唔係「餐蛋，雞蛋要太陽蛋」🙃食物方面其實真係一般，普通過其他茶餐廳。
我一向覺得以茶餐廳既定位，食物唔洗花巧，正常發揮已經夠。
但佢份#多士 真係好難食，塊包好似根本就唔係完整嘅，焗完出嚟又唔脆，好似放咗一陣先拎出嚟咁(可以睇圖二)。
佢哋賣點可能係價錢比較相宜，而且附近冇乜多選擇，所以都見到有啲熟客。
可惜食物質素真係欠奉，加上服務態度真係好差，我見新正頭走個陣仲好正能量好開心咁同佢講佢恭喜發財，生意興隆，佢完全無理我🙁我都未試過比咁低嘅評分🙁.📍#上環東街18號 🌟HappiMuffin Rating: 4/10💰Price: $4050 pp.
大食妹襯住weekend去上環搵好姊妹食晏之前好姊妹同大食妹propose左好多間餐廳, 都俾大食妹ban左因為大部分餐廳大食妹都已經食過最後終於俾我地搵到華樂冰室<午餐B>華樂冰室嘅午餐選擇唔多, 只有四款大食妹就嗌左份午餐B午餐B包括肉類一款, 可以揀豬扒/豬頸肉/牛扒/雞扒/雞翼主食方面, 就可以係意粉/通粉/米粉/出前一丁/河粉/烏冬裏面揀一款, 全部都係湯粉, 除咗意粉可以轉茄汁/黑椒汁炒意外除此之外, 仲可以喺煎蛋牛油方包同各式多士裏面揀一款, 配埋杯咖啡或茶, 咁多嘢食先至44蚊, 性價比幾高<豬扒>肉食方面, 大食妹就揀咗豬扒豬扒煎得好脆, 而且份量好大, 口感彈牙<黑椒汁乾炒意粉>主食方面, 大食妹就揀咗黑椒汁乾炒意粉炒意粉同黑椒汁份量同樣好多, 黑椒汁味道偏辣, 而且非常濃郁, 重口味嘅朋友一定要試吓意粉質地就中等偏軟, 但非常入味<奶多>麵包方面, 大食妹就揀咗至愛嘅奶多奶多去邊, 烘得外脆內軟, 加上煉奶, 簡單但好味<熱咖啡>飲品方面, 大食妹就揀咗杯熱咖啡可能水溫太熱, 味道偏酸, 大食妹就唔係咁好啦
所謂懷舊冰室嘅人情味，係呢間華樂完全搵唔到，阿姐大支嘢唔俾影舖頭入面，驚死影蝕咁食物款式唔算太多，同家姐各叫咗個豬扒炒意粉同雞翼炒意粉，唔駛兩分鐘已經上枱，感覺係一早已經整好哂，一有人落單就即出。
理解豬扒同雞翼一般都會煎定，但無諗過炒意粉都咁快上枱。
豬扒同雞翼味道其實都okay，豬扒食得出有用香茅醃製，都幾香口亦唔會好乾，而且size都算大塊。
但個炒意粉完全唔掂，未試過食咁難嘅炒意粉😣 通常餐記都會烚定意粉先，之後有人order就會即炒，但好明顯佢哋係一早炒定個意粉，所以勁快可以上枱同埋溫度係微溫，而且成個口感係勁粉，啲豉油汁俾啲意粉吸到乾晒，成碟嘢乾爭爭，食咗兩啖完全食唔落去🤢好在個餐跟一份多士，有別於一般餐記/冰室，呢度有得揀唔同嘅口味，例如奶油多、奶醬多，我哋咁啱都想食油占多。
多士用一般方包，唔係厚多士，味道okay，但唔太香脆。
算好有塊包可以食下，唔係真係唔夠飽😣飲品就叫咗茶走，都達一般standard，但食物真係唔掂，都好難會再幫襯第二次。
近排成日落大雨，都唔知食乜嘢好今日去開上環，突然間又落大雨，見到有間冰室喺附近，即刻衝左入去食個晏先入到去發現裝修好懷舊，果然係舊式嘅冰室，通常救兵晒啲夥計態度都唔係好但係姐姐態度幾好，食到懷舊嘅味道，仲有人情味添<午餐A $41>午餐選擇唔算好多，大概40幾蚊左右，正常冰室嘅價錢不過份量真係超級大，多士仲可以轉奶油多，勁有誠意，仲要看到脆卜卜咁火腿湯意粉味道就正常茶餐廳嘅味道，火腿份量好多食到最後都夠撈意粉食
