It looked like a nice place to try while roaming around PoHo: breezy, quiet, fresh oysters, a decent selection of other menu items. The wine fridge also hinted at a betterthanordinary restaurant experience.Service and presentation were good. Interesting bread selection. The Coffin Bay oysters were fresh and tasty. Smoked eel with salad was also a satisfying selection.Main courses were heavy on cream, butter, and fryingpan time. The cod was by far the better of the two, arriving properly done. The trout showed up overcooked to the point of dryness, and the creamy sauce overpowered whatever was left of a normally delicate fish taste.All in all an OK place to dine but when one has a menu laden with fish offerings, there should be no reason for overcooking. We didn't cause a scene, just left a bit disappointed.

We found a promotional banner in front of this restuarant, promoting oysters at $18 up/piece after we visited the galleries around the neigbourhood area at around 5pm.  It's too early for dinner, but it's a good decision to have some oysters and a glass of wine before we heading back home.The restaurant was doing promotion for coffin bay oyster at $18/piece.  It's the right season to have oysters coming from the South Hemipshere.  Yes, it's good choice.  The oysters are fresh and tasty.Sure that $18/piece is a very tempting price.  But the house wine (Italy) of about $80/glass will be a bit on the high side.We have studied the food memu which seems very attractive and we would definitely make another visit and try out their dishes.

After a map search on openrice we discovered this little restaurant so close to home, which was perfect for a rainy Friday night. We were a little surprised with the high prices, but the quality of the food mostly made up for it. We started with oyster shooters which were yummy. We had the mushroom soup which was thick and tasty. The parma ham bruschetta which was very good, but overpriced for 3 pieces of bread. We all had pasta for main course and they were all fresh and tasty, the risotto was the favorite. The portions were quite small for the price. We had apple crumble for desert and it was very good. Coffees to finish were unfortunately a disappointing end to a good meal. Service was good and staff very pleasant. Overall I would recommend for diners in the Sheung Wan area, but be aware that you’ll likely need to order an entree, main and desert to be full.

My girlfriend and I LOVE seafood! The other day we were surfing the net and came across Serenade, at first we had doubts in whether or not to try this because there weren’t a lot of reviews but we still went to try it since its kinda close to where we work.When we got there, there weren’t a lot of people which was good caz we both hate crowded, noisy places. It’s a cosy, warm restaurant, I think it’s perfect for couples! We ordered a seafood platter as our entrée, absolutely love it! It includes oysters, crab and snails, they were well presented and ohsofresh! I wish they had more in a platter, we couldn’t get enough! Soo sooo good! We also had a basket of bread which was still hot and soft, we didn’t have much of the bread caz we were afraid we won’t have enough space for other yummy food! Oh almost forgot we had a salmon salad, it was good, nothing too exciting here but still good.We also ordered linguini with clams and geoduck and the lamb rack. Both were great! We were afraid that the lamb rack wouldn’t be good because not all restaurants can do a good job in making the lamb rack and we don’t like it to be overcooked. To my surprise, the lamb rack was so amazing that even my girlfriend wouldn’t stop praising it! Arghh..my mouth is watering now just by talking about it. And the linguini is very tasty too! Their seafood were all so fresh!!Although we were already full after the mains but we still wanted to try out the dessert. We had the chocolate molten cake and also the crème brulee. Both were above average! We were sooo full and could barely move but were also very happy for having such good food with reasonable pricing!!Overall the food here were amazingly good, I wouldn’t expect such restaurant with not many s on openrice would be that great! I would say this is a mustgo restaurant! We will DEFINTELY come back AGAIN!

由於小妹上個月生日，最親愛既朋友仔決定同我食飯慶生~再次再次特別鳴謝我最愛既大學同學仔~~大家只係神神秘秘咁帶我係上環慢慢行冇諗過原來寧靜既上環會別有洞天，結果係去左一間so cozy 既serenade 一來到大家就決定要支 house wine享受下~環境浪漫氣氛良好．酒不醉人人自醉嘛 之後就開始極級享受既美食之旅~老闆仲好好人咁主動問我地有咩想食仲推介佢地既招牌 seafood platter ~有咁好人斯文又靘仔既老細~ 女士們既我地當然就等老闆幫我地決定啦~呢個象拔蚌刺生簡直係鮮甜可口．可遇不可求!老闆話係即日新鮮運到 – 果種爽口程度完全係yummy yummy~再來個seafood platter 有本人最喜歡吃既澳洲水晶蟹!!蟹膏比秋天食到既大閘蟹黃油蟹仲要多幾倍!!! 不停encore 再encore 哈哈之後有龍蝦湯面包同三文魚沙律~~ 值得一讚既係一流龍蝦湯精華濃郁但不肥膩．等你留番 capacity for main dishes~~~再來係拓牌菜 Grilled Australian Kobe Beef M9 & 羊架一世人．真係絕對要食一次澳洲和牛! 同我係神戶食果種口感唔同不過入口即溶既魅力會令你一試再試~~~~~~~~~~ 完全係即晚既精髓!果種餘香韻味令我一個月後都繼續回味．必叫呀!跟住大家就傾下計再繼續 enjoy the wonderful night ~ 環境舒適服務週到你根本都唔會想離開~ 消化一輪後就到我本人既最愛 dessert menu pls~ 由於小妹實在係太喜歡吃．所以決定將減肥大計再押後多少少．．3個甜品分別係 心太軟．Sorbet and cream burlee~ 其實我好鍾意食sorbet所以去親decent 既西餐廳我都會叫來試一試~呢個就中正下懷啦~~ 甜酸交纏在口中溶化既感覺係最完美~~心太軟亦值得一讚!! 食得出Vanilla seed 係香甜．非 movenpick 之流可比~Cream burlee 當然亦沒有失望~ 成功為我幸福既晚上畫上完滿句號~總括而言．是比soho 更上一層樓的地方~若然已經去厭左al dente antiplasto等等等．呢度絕對係選擇~Honestly, right persons need to be accommodate by right place~Serenade would be the perfect place for a causal chat with fds or even first date~~again Thanks my lovely fds for celebrating my bday in this wonderful restaurant~~ u guys r amazing *V*
